Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Wednesday! Hump Day....

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Brrrrr it's a cold start to my Hump Day, it's 10f on my back porch! At least I think that's what it says? I didn't feel like scraping ice off the thermometer with my finger nails this morning. Suppose to be even colder tonight, down to 5f or so. There's a lot of outside dogs here in the neighborhood so I hope they all have something in their dog houses to burrow into to keep warm.

Working up where we do at ACT it stand for Advance Call Center Tech. We all say that it stands for Always Changing Things. And that name lives up to itself every week. Since training began a week and a half ago they have changed things twice now. What started out as collections training for mortgages is now what they call loss mitigation. Which is customer service for mortgage holders who are having a really hard time and more than likely facing foreclosure. We would be servicing various investors ie. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and of course BOA mortgages. Now for some reason we here in TN will not be doing BOA mortgages? I guess the 'mitloss' team in Buffalo will be doing them? The team in Buffalo is the only ones doing any 'mitloss' at this time so our crew is badly needed because the other is so swamped and so far behind. It's gonna be interesting that's for sure. They are suppose to fly down a bunch of people to finish our training next week in what they call nesting. I don't think that there is anyone in the training class who is not nervous or scared half to death. :?

Got some other news to share but it will have to wait until I get home later as I really don't have much time to get into it this morning. So ya'll can wonder what it is today while I'm working. 8-)

Got the coffee pot ready and waiting for all you sleepy heads and got the cups sitting here too. Picked up some frozen blueberry waffles for whoever is interested and Mrs Buttersworth syrup. Yum Have banana nut muffins and English muffins sitting here. Butter, peanut butter and a choice of jams and of course Biscotte too. Can't forget that.

Hope everyone has a super great day, stay safe and warm.

Love to all

good morning, I'm up, I'm sort of awake but I'm dragging this morning. So many busy
days is starting to catch up with me. But the Botanical Gardens was really neat, gave
me a new appreciation for the desert flora.
I had a real fright last evening when I was trying to show a friend some of the pictures
on my camera, seems a bunch of them were GONE! they just didn't show on the display
but when I downloaded my camera to my computer they were there, so I don't know
what the deal was but I was so afraid I had lost a bunch of pictures when I had to
change the batteries, I was so relieved when they showed up on the computer.
I took 112 pictures at the Botanical Gardens, until my second set of batteries gave
out. Will get some posted for ya soon.
Today we are going to Tucson and into Tombstone. Taking EXTRA extra batteries
Coffee is so good this morning, and a light breakfast, bagel and creamcheese. Gotta
get my lunch packed and showered and dressed so you all have a great day, be warm
and be safe.

That is so not fair! Let us wonder all day what your news is!

Today we'll be sightseeing. We're heading south towards Pawleys Island again. Then coming back through Murrellls Inlet to get shrimp for supper. We're also going to do a little RV shopping. There are lots of dealers here, so it's a good opportunity to go through some different models & get a better idea of what we are looking for. Thanks to you all, I've made a list of my like & dislikes. I want to look at TT's too. Have never even considered them before. Don't know why really except we don't have a truck, but want to check them out anyway.

Well, I'm off to see what I've missed here, then bath 6 dogs before we start out. That's almost a day's work right there! Have a good day! :D

Mikki, 'ware looking at TT's! I was looking for a 5th wheel, couldn't see one I liked on the lot and as I was leaving the guy asked if I had looked at the trailers. I said no, I wasn't interested. But I looked at the one he wanted to show me. Wiped the drool of my face and bought it. Unfortunately that was the one I totaled. When Beth and I go to the Rally I'm almost dreading looking at rigs. I'll make Beth promise to slap her hand over my mouth the minute she hears, ...I'll take i....

Just stopped in to say Good Morning.

LOL Sparkle - I'm the one that had to control myself last year. Yep, I do see TT and 5th wheels I like, but if and when I ever have a vehicle to drive other than my rig, I'd like something small - a car - not a truck to drive around in. I can drive my current rig into some towns as easy as a truck - and I remember when my ex and I lived outside Chicago - he had a truck for work, and was very limited where he could park it when he had to take it downtown. And the times I really want a car and have rented - are to do the city tours (Philadelphia, for example - where I went in 3 separate times to see all the historical stuff.)

Now, I know those of you who drive trucks love them - just isn't for me- so think carefully of all your pros and cons - when looking at various models. If I'd still had a truck when I was first looking, I might have got a TT cuz the pro would have weighed heavily against my cons.

Probably am making no sense. Overslept this morning, which made me have to really rush (as I only get up normally 20 minutes before I'm due at work, and I leave 5 minutes before the hour. I really, really didn't want to get up cuz they had predicted really cold overnight - but it was better this morning than yesterday. Go figure. Winds aren't as bad.

Have a good day everyone.

good morning all!

it's a glorious sunny day here. All is well in my world. My granddaughter had a fantastic basketball game last night, grabbed rebounds out of the rafters, aced several shots at the basket and all in all, played outstanding ball. She is one of the starting 5 and played most of the game with only a little bit of bench time to give the 2nd string floor time. The coach is wise to sub 2nd string in with some of the first string at the same time to really help them become better. She never has the 2nds all on the floor at the same time. What a great tecnique to help their confidence. Oh yes,... and they won the game.

Only six more games this week,... for me the season is way too short!

For those not wanting a truck, check out the Ford SportTrac.... sort of a cross between the SUV Explorer and pickup. I believe it has a tow rating of approx. 5500# I have always been a 5th wheel lover, having owned three and shared one more. Now with a small TT, I have to say that as much as i loved the "upstairs" bedroom, being all on one level has a lot of good points. If you have a MH and a toad you are still going to have to mess with a hitch anyhow,... so, it boils down, as always, to personal preference. there is no good, or bad,... and seldom do I see ugly.

Have a great day everyone!

Okay, Echo...what's the news....just love how we are all hang on waiting for you to get home..... ;)

Later all,....back to the bathroom.... :x

Hello Everyone, I know its not morning, but actually couldn't tell you where the day has gone. First of the year things to do ,plus this is dr.and all kind of test time for me and Maggie both, so my mind most of the time is elsewhere, trying to remember everything :D

Lori, I am so sorry to hear you aren't feeling up to par, lets hope it passes on by quickly. I have so much to catch on here, it'll be fun when I get half a chance. I got on a few mins. last night, Late! To tired to stay on long, and it looks like everyone has really been busy too.

Echo, for nosey people like me, its really mean of you, to make us all wait until tonight. Gave me something to look forward to though   Hope its really something good for you !

Take care, stay safe and warm (cold is really moving towards all of the east, it seems)

Good afternoon/evening you all!

And yes, Echo....what WHAT is the news????? Not nice to keep us waiting!

Lori get better soon....those stomach bugs are really making the rounds this winter. ACK!!!!

I had two Ford Sportracs before my trucks, and I must say I LOVED them! If I could afford a new one that would pull my TT, I would switch to one of those in a heartbeat! Back when I first got my larger trailer, the Sportrak couldn't haul it---now they can haul more, and my trailer is smaller as I downsized. Way more room inside, and less room in the bed, which I liked. Very expensive, however...I have been window shopping lately!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
