Sunday Sunday....Early up here in Michigan. The girls have a early ring time and need their coats blown out with a hair dryer before we head over to the ring. It won't take Audrey long, she has a neked belly. I call her my porno dog. I have a sweet and talented 12 yr old junior handler meeting us at the ring to help get both girls in the ring at the same time. Love Junior Handlers. Audrey's "I still have belly hair" sister, Daisy, is expected to win again today but that is okay, it is all in the family.

I may not cook much but I do know how to run imaginary kitchens. You order it up and we can serve it! Coffee, tea or diet cokes.....waffles, eggs, and... biscuits and gravy for those that have special tastes (BJ.... )

Hope everyone has a good day. Find the strength to journey on through whatever the day throws down for you. I know that some of the recent detours lately have been rough.

No eat up before those biscuits get cold.....

Good morning ladies,
yep, I'm up early again, but thats ok, I'll catch a nap later. Still drying out here, and Sheila...the deck held up well over
the last few storms, I'm very happy with it.
The plan for today of course is to get all my stuff put back away in the kitchen cabinets. Then wash the towels again and
toss them in the dryer. I am thankful for having power....as there are 30,000 on the west side of town doin without right now.
Two more weeks of school and we're off for fall break and I've got a big chore list in the making to while away the time.
Barbie, glad you got your studio apt in the works. I had a studio once and I loved it, it was cheaper and easier to clean.
Gettin hungry here, so breakfast....bagels and cream cheese Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

I'd say 'good luck' to Audrey and Daisy, but you're probably out of the ring by now!

Wow, being away from the computer and limited phone has put me waaaay behind on catching up with everyone here. I've been reading posts like a mad thing and I still don't think I've caught up with everything.

I got home from the rest of our trip yesterday afternoon and spent most of the rest of the day emptying out TC and putting stuff away. Today's laundry day and still finding things to get put away or back into TC for my next trip.

After leaving the gals in KS Carrie and I headed down to Branson for a few days. We had a pretty good time there, saw a show, went spelunking!, and shopped til we about dropped. Fun time and we plan on going back again someday. Left there on Thursday, headed homeward and stopped off at Lincoln's New Salem State Park for 2 nights. Nice little park, we thought, until it started to fill up with locals who apparently have lost all common courtesy. We were parked by a couple of older gentlemen who thought that if they were up and at 'em, everybody should be--before 6 am, no less! Needless to say we got an extra early start on the drive home. We also included stops at Funk's Grove for maple sirup (yes, they spell it with an "i") and our ritual stop at the Russell Stover store in Lincoln, IL where we stocked up on candy for ourselves and for gifts! (you can't have too much chocolate! lol)

My dog Buddy has been glued to my side since I got home-do you think he missed me? He even tries to go out the door every time I do especially if I'm working in TC and he jumps in with me while I'm in there. Guess he wanted to go too! Maybe next trip if we aren't sightseeing, I'll bring him along, then we'll still be outnumbered by dogs at the gtg. I think Catherine said with the addition of Carrie and I we were even in numbers.

We had a great time meeting all the ax murderers (oops I mean ladies) in KS, and I would love to go back again. Even if my GPS lies!

Quiet here in southwest Arkansas, but the weather has been fabulous since I landed. Just saw an article on Yahoo about the oldest bars in each state and I realized that I had been in quite a few of them. The latest was the Hays House in Kansas for dinner while at the Kansas GTG. The article was really interesting.

Way past morning... I got up and was feeling good so got my shower and went to church... after church I went to get groceries... got two boxes of old fashioned oatmeal... my staple for breakfast! and frozen blue berries!!

I have a small chuck roast strange how much they cost but I need to eat some protein... Did not eat so now I have a potato in the micro wave... will cook the roast in my crock pot tomorrow with carrots, onions and potatoes and a can of tomatoes... love that!

I need to go to Pontiac and take some pictures of the damage on the roof. Sure hope they have a ladder... so much has happened... but I know it will level out I am hanging on just as Catherine said!

Wow I sure would have loved seeing everyone at the GTG... next time if there is a cabin I will try to make arrangements to come... do not know if cabins are dog friendly or not...

Martha when my family had a bad car accident my sister was killed my mother was critically injured the hospital had motel rooms right in the hospital that way we could take turns and sleep and shower... I do hope you get to take Harold home today.

We made it home! I feel like Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ - There's no place like home. The night nurse made the mistake of telling Harold that he was going to help him take a shower early this morning and the day crew would discharge us. He started calling them at 4:30. He got his shower and we were packed up. We got discharged at 9:30. Harold doesn't understand hospital time. There weren't many patients on our floor so they cut the staff in half. They had rooms for family but my boys work and I didn't want to disrupt their schedule. The whole point of me being there was to fetch stuff. They should give us a discount, I saved them many steps. Harold has no patience especially when he is sick.

A chuck roast sounds good. That's my favorite after a bone in rib roast which you need to finance if you buy one. I don't know why but chuck roasts are hard to find here. Sam's usually sells 2 in a big package which would make 4 for us. I usually don't have that much room in my freezer. The Whole Food Store opened Wednesday and I can't wait to go see it. They are saying we are getting a Costco too.

Saraha, maybe try at an Auto Zone or one of those places. If it's something that came on the RV you might have to rig something.

Another gorgeous 80* day here! Worked all day and made good tips. Have tomorrow off and supposed to be nice out again, so maybe a bike ride in the afternoon.

Maybe bungee straps would work. I've been thinking about cutting long black Velcro straps to fit around our battery case. We need something easier than the bucked straps because they are so difficult to get off on our battery (it is in a rally tight space).

When mine broke, I used one bungie cord and one velcro strip to hold it in place. I wanted to see which would work the best. They are both still in use.
