Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Hmmmm? I'm looking around and it's all quiet in here?? Barbz must be busy with Robert or else she wore herself out trying to wear him out with that 'honey do' list??? And the rest of 'em must are either still asleep or not quite awake yet? Boy I sure wish I was still asleep. Yawn! I am not ready for it to be Monday morning!!! Yucko! Weekends go by way to dang fast!

Not much to write about this morning tho the sistahs seemed to have plenty going on this past weekend. By goodness some of those pics were awesome!!! Love it.

Got to get around for work, I'm not even dressed yet. Kelly's all showered and in her room getting dressed, she's gonna come out of there and be giving me the dickens cause I's still in my jammies!!! :o

Ok Sistahs, got the coffee pot sitting here waiting on ya'll with blueberry muffins, oatmeal raisin cookies, English muffins, peanut buter and cream cheese cause I found bagels too. And of course Biscotte too, got to have that. Sit down a spell and do tell!!!!

Hope ya'll have a fantastic day and please be safe!!!

Love to all

Good morning Echo and everyone!

i agree that weekends go by way too quickly. But as that's my life right now I'll go to school and enjoy it. There is never a morning that the kids don't make me smile or laugh within five minutes after they arrive. They are awesome and I'm so lucky to be working with them.

ok,.... gotta get moving,... have a great day everyone!

Morning...weekends certainly do go way to fast. I usually don't dread work, but this week I have to go to annual training. It is the most boring two days...same thing every year. They crowd about 75 of us in a room that shouldn't hold more than 40 people...it gets hot and stuffy. The presenters have no public speaking experience and are down right terrible or they throw a CD in the player and turn off the lights...then get cranky when all of us start falling asleep. I'd much rather be in my shop working. Have to fill my coffee mug and run out the door....one of the biscotti look good too....bye
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

I woke up at...well I don't know, I don't need a clock in my bedroom. I'll have a cuppa, take Bogie for a walk on the beach. Now I do have some work to do. A couple of loads of laundry. If I'm not too tired from that I'll maybe take a drive into Port Aransas. Then what? I should work on a stained glass window I'm repairing for a friend. Read our book Club selection, My sister's Keeper, which by the way is excellent. Before I know it I'll be back in my cozy bed and another day will be over. Ahh yessss.

Isn't it wonderful not to need a clock? Don't know what time I got up, it's usually when the pups tell me too. :D They know when it's time to go out. Hope everyone is well this morning. It is colder here today. The sun is shining bright but it's not warming us up too much. We are doing some sight seeing today. Going down to Pawleys Island then come back thru Murrells Inlet to get some shrimp & hushpuppies for supper. Oh Sunshinecruiser, you need to take at least one big pot for things like boiling shrimp. I'd love to do a low country boil outside but there aren't enough ppl here to eat it. The last one we did fed about 50.

I'll take a cuppa java & some biscotti. I have biscotti here but it's dogs treats. I make banana biscotti for them, but you can bet when I get the urge for biscotti, I eat it.

Have a good day! :D

Yes, thanks for the coffee. Just got off the phone. need to get on of the pups in to check on his allergies before he chews his foot off! Just got it all cleared up a couple of months ago. I remember annual inservicing. There were the ra ra speeches and the annual - you showed up everyday awards - and then the OSHA and legal stuff. This was the - we have to prove we told you this stuff and not only that we are going to remind of it annually - stuff. Everyone had to sign off and document that they were there. That was so when/if something happens the administration could say, "The employee had been informed, see - he/she was in attendance......So much was CYA, but that said - some individuals are not very bright and you do have to paint them a picture. Common Sense is not as common as we would like it to be :)

And when I get to feeling tired recently, I think of my neice. She is in her mid 30's and has just started back to work at 8 wks, after having her second beautiful baby. The older girl is a little over 2. Doesn't that just make you sleep deprived and tired thinking about it? I think I remember the days - but it is a little like childbirth - sort of fuzzy. It isn't like ones brain can fully function under those sleep deprived conditions.......

Morning all from sunny Mexico. We at least got a good nights sleep last night - the disco isn't open on Sunday night - no THUMP THOMP until 3 a.m. It is across the street and down the road from us - what must it be like inside?
Just going to fool around here today maybe go to the marina and relax. Tomorrow we will probably leave for a little further south. Today I think I'll back up my laptop and make some CDs of my pictures. Have been playing with Google earth to check out where we are going. Thats fun.

Good VERY late morning, as in evening!

I ran out of time here this morning, as it was a bath day and a folding laundry day and a scrape off the truck day, along with all the usual stuff I have to get done before I leave for school!

I just got back from bringing in more firewood so I don't run short when this arctic cold front that is heading this way hits us. Before that, as soon as I got home, I ran into the house, changed into my skiing stuff, and Molly and I did the mile loop of my trails. Despite the fact that I had already skied that twice since the heavy snow, it was again buried under a hefty 5 to 6 inches of new stuff! Molly tried porpoising through the deep stuff ahead of me when we first started out, but she then decided it was easier to plod along behind me in my new tracks. It was truly beautiful out there this afternoon....heavy, heavy snow on all the evergreens, making them look as if they had been frostinged. (I think I just made up a word, but I like it!)

Time to figure out something to eat....last night I had grilled hamburgers cooked outside in the zero degree weather on my deck. It's hard to get the fire warm enough to cook at those temperatures!

I might just go to bed and forget supper tonight....lord knows I can afford to miss a few meals now.

I filled my truck, 19+ gallons of gas, tonight, using my Price Chopper discount card, so I got 19 gallons at 1.03 per gallon! By shopping at Price Chopper, you get to use your card for discounts on Esso fuel. I had earned a $.90 discount per gallon for 20 gallons. Sure did feel good! Our gas prices are climbing daily here again....just kills me to think of it. $1.93 tonight, without the discount card. ACK!!!

I hope you all had a great day.....I am going to feed my 4-footers, chat for a bit at 7:00, and head for my warm bed.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
