RABBITS!!!!!Good morning, all....well, we'll try posting this morning and hope the signal stays long enough to post....4am is awful early, but been noted as an early riser in the past....

It's been an uneventful summer, so far...oh, we've done 1 family reunion, and I had lots of fun traveling with my sisters for our annual "Sisters Week"....started at Mt. Vernon, VA, then did the trolley tour of the monuments of DC, hosted them all here for an over nite of Gettysburg, then we went to the family farm and visited the "Lucy" Museum in Jamestown, NY the onto Niagara Falls, NY for a ride on "The Maid of the Mist" ending our adventure with a visit to Fort Niagara and a visit to a winery there........Ernie and Spinner survived a week without me and I got to catch up with the "Sibs".....

Bill paying today....am almost done paying the Medical stuff from last summer....and by the way, all tests are negative this year...so I'm good to go again.....

Okay, will stop for now...and see if this will post....

Coffee is ready, and just for you all, have my orange rolls fresh from the oven for you...

Good morning lori nice to see you back on MC..
Might rain here today after a couple days of nice sunny weather
I'm still working on painting the kitchen cupboards and woodwork
but now I see a light at the end of the tunnel.... hope to finish it up in the next couple days
that's about all I'll be doing.... still using my phone to pay for excuse any mistakes
Somehow I used up almost all of my data on my jetpack.... and I still have my online bill paying
dude today... so I'm sure I will be going over... I really don't understand how that happens
and basically every month I just do the same thing while online... I wasn't even halfway through the month it was almost all gone... I have a security password so I do not understand it
and when I talk to Verizon yesterday they had no answer for me either...

Bad Monday night here in Illinois. Hope all the ladies in the midwest are OK. (Catherine, Kathleen, Kathy, BJ, and anyone else I missed). Tornado sirens went off last night around 10:10 so Zorro & I headed to the basement. Lots of trees down and corn fields laying flat this morning on the ride to work. Check in everyone so we know you are OK.

Lori, so good to see you post this morning. Have been wondering how your summer has been going. Sounds like you had fun with your sisters for a week though.

Wow, you gals down in IL really got some bad weather last night. I guess there are some power outages along the Lake Michigan shoreline areas but the entire complex just dissipated and all we got was some rain. This area doesn't get much severe weather anymore it seems, but it only takes one storm, like that little tornado we had last fall. Freak stuff. weather is now cooling down and other than some scattered showers possible, looks to be nice and cool for rest of week. Just comfty. Anybody looking for someplace to come, head north into MI for a while. Northern MI or the U.P..

Am heading to town today to do the errands I didn't get done yesterday. Neighbor asked if I wanted to take a ride to Petoskey with her, so did that and since she is new to MI, we took a different route home. She enjoyed seeing some of the area to the west of here. also have meeting with financial advisor later today. Looking at house for sale across the road here, need to find out if it's financially feasible or might just forget the whole thing. Have company coming on Thursday for a couple of days, so things are getting a bit busy around here.

Dang, forgot it was RABBITS! day today. With the long winter we had, this summer is going too fast. Have a great day all.

Good Morning !!! Lori, so nice to see your post. Sounds like you've had a great summer so far, and still going Maggie and I, are back to our home, kind of lonesome this morning. She is still sleeping in fact. Stirred once when I got up but back to sleep, she sleeps an awful lot anymore.

Not sure what today holds. I need to go up to the office and pay electric bill, its due before the 5th or a 6 dollar late fee. The bill is enough without that, and I have only been here half the time of the bill Sun keeps coming and going this morning, so will see if I make that walk up front , or not.

No news, enjoying my coffee, so will just wish you all a good day and see what is happening, too much to ever catch up, but fun trying and good that most are having fun.

Good Morning, I even remembered to say rabbits! We're ok down here Cheryl, if there were storms in the area they missed us. Lori thanks for breakfast so good to hear from you and glad all your test were negative!
It is supposed to be really hot here again today but tomorrow low humidity and temps in low 80's! No plans for the 4th other than trying to keep the dogs calm with all the noise from the fireworks. Wishing everyone a happy first day of July.

good morning, its JULY!!!
well, yesterday was a scorcher and I fought with the ac all day. Will do a separate post on that.
suppose to be another hot one today but its Arizona and we don't get much weather here. Although the
weatherperson says maybe a monsoon rain later in the week.
Doing nothing today, maybe a nap and a movie but thats about it. Hoping I don't have to fight with the ac.

I did remember to say RABBITS, could use some better luck tho no major complaints at the moment.

Heat index forecast to reach 103 this afternoon. I really wanted to go to a farmers market today but it doesn't open until 3:00 and I no longer do heat well. The desire for some fresh local produce, especially tomatoes might be motivation enough for me the leave the A/C.

Got yet another notice from firm where personal data was compromised - this one a brokerage house that holds my IRAs. They are providing a year of free credit monitoring thru Experian but there is no excuse for this to have happened. Company was not hacked, a company issued laptop was lost and it was not encrypted.

No plans for the 4th this year. Might try to find place to watch some local fireworks if I can do so without getting into big crowds.

Good Morning All, OH BOY, Lori's orange rolls this morning..your week with the sisters sounded like much fun! I forgot Rabbits too this morning. Sarah, that laptop going missing is inexcusable! Some people are such dorks/idiots, etc.
Does anyone know if PURIFiCATION OILS and essential oils are the same thing? I'm trying to find the purification oils to make a home made mosquito repellent.
Big soccer game today. They are broadcasting it on the big TV screen down at PetCo Park. I'm going down to watch.

I forgot RABBITS! Oh no!

Yeah, me too! And I should have remembered as I was up late with the storms.

First storm went thru and knocked out our power for 2 hrs. Came back on about 9 pm and we stayed up a bit to let the dogs out for night time potty. Round 11 the storms came back with a vengeance! Power went on and off for a while then finally came back. Didn't get much sleep to say the least. DH gets up early to let the dogs out and couldn't figure out why only 2 of them came back to be let in. Said he had to go outside to look for my dog, Buddy who finally came from the direction of the front yard. Because of how my house is built, if you go outside you can't see the front yard unless you go around the house so he didn't notice that our driveway gate was standing completely open. I'm lucky Buddy came back at all. Seems several trees have come down in the front yard and smashed the fence which pulled the gate free from it's latch and let it swing open. That's how I found it when I went out this morning to look for damages. Had to hurry up and tie it closed with a lead rope (it was the closest thing to hand that I could tie with).

Guess who gets to pick up downed branches today? I can't run the chainsaw myself so that part will have to wait til DH gets home. Funniest thing is there's two dead trees at the side of the yard and neither of them lost so much as a branch. Go figure.

Ok this morning after many many warnings on my NOAA... and storms gave torrents of rain again...
Before the storms I got a message on my phone. 'Grandma you still awake?'... I was in bed watching Ninja Warriors... got my robe on and there was my grandson Tim with a plate of home made chocolate chip cookies!!! Now how is that for a surprise... had some this morning with coffee...
Still having stomach issues... not sure what is going on... today is my appointment for my eyes... maybe they are healed enough to test for glasses...
Lori it is good to see you once again... it sounds like all is well with the Illinois sistas...

Whew! My younger son and family left a couple of days ago, and I am still recovering from them. Older son headed off this morning with his trailer, so I am finally back to being alone. Older son's two kids spent last two nights with me, but they are 7 and 9 and much better behaved than other three, so not so bad. I do love all my grandchildren, but it has been like a zoo for the past week. Reminds me of why we have children when we are young.

So I am getting my vent covers installed today, and tomorrow will be at dealer to get relay checked that is apparently causing pull on the vehicle battery instead of the coach batteries. Also going to get a haircut today and returning some stuff I bought at Walmart. Then I can do the rest of the laundry and finally relax!

Before this trip I rarely went to the Morning Coffee thread, but now that I'm on the road, I check in when I have internet. It's so nice to have contact with someone when you're traveling alone! Thank you all for being there!

I'm headed to Skagway today, where I will spend the night. Then it's back to the Alaska Hwy in the Yukon to continue north - to Alaska! I'm loving this trip. So much beautiful scenery. I'm afraid I will be spoiled forever.

Morning from the left coast. Today will be a busy day for me as I have to get the MH ready to rock n roll in the am. Dumped the tanks yesterday and disconnected the hose and stowed away. So just the electric and cable to disconnect in the am. Then hook up the car and I will be off to hook up with Laura (CougarFan) at the first rest area. We are caravanning to 7Feathers for the GTG. Sooooo excited to meet Liz and Birdie. Going to be HOT here today then cool down to the 70's - 80's....perfect weather. My biggest chore (after putting away the "flyables) will be washing the INSIDE of my window. My dog loves to be on the dash when parked and of course that comes with lots of wet nose marks. Will need to be a bit of a contortionist and try NOT to honk the horn while cleaning. Need to wait until the morning sun is off the window tho so I have a bit of a reprieve.
