Good morning everyone,
Today is Beck's appt with his oncologist, bloodwork, exam and X-rays. Bloodwork and exams have been good with his vet, just a little nervous about the X-rays. We ask for prayers and positive thoughts that all is clear.
When we get back, it's clean the house and start packing Rosie. If they didn't drug Beck up so much, we could leave today but there is no way he can make it up and down the steps.
Have a great day everyone, praline coffee in the pot if you want some.
Bonnie, Alexis and BECK

Mornin' Bonnie & all that follow.
Sending puppy hugs to Beck and hoping blood work & everything looks good. On a side note - I had to cheat and Babel Fish your signature - was driving me crazy wondering what it said
Last day at work this week, have to use up vacation time before our year end on 6/30, so have an appointment to get new spare put on Mar-E.
Have a good day everyone & stay safe if you're on the road.

Vacation is cancelled. My cold/flu thing has settle nicely into my chest now. Had 100* temp yesterday with body aches and feeling exhausted. Slept a lot. Nice cough and nasal congestion now
Had torrential rains and thunderstorms all night long and now flash flood warning for the area including Lake Minnetonka, which was the last thing we needed here. More on the way today. Will be sleeping a lot today...taking more meds and going back to bed now.
(thank you to my co-worker who came to work with this same thing on Monday...

Good Morning but not so good for Barbie so sorry you are still under the weather and no vacation... bummer...
Summer has come to Normal... I think the electric bills will be very high this summer... I am so glad for the man that mows my lawn... he works in a factory for 10 hours each day and mows lawns after his work...
Cheryl enjoy your days off... Hope Beck has a good report...
Not sure if it is the eye drops or what but I am very hungry in the night! Have never been a night eater...
Kelsie did a nice job on my bathroom and bedroom... next week I will have her start on the windows if it is not too hot...
My Keurig needs a vinegar wash... will not push the water out to make a full cup of coffee... will do that later this morning...
Have a great day no matter where your feet or wheels take you...

Having sickness instead of a vacation is rotten! Feel better soon, Barbie.

Sorry you are going to miss your vacation Barbie. If I'm going to get sick it's going to be on a trip.
I should be loading up instead of playing on the computer. I only have to go 8 miles and check-in isn't until 2:00 so have time to mess around. I'm going to get my DH to follow me and pick me up so I can have my car. I still need to go to town for ice and a few things. Not having a refrigerator is a pain. My new refrigerator is on it's way but I don't have an appointment to get it installed until July 16.
I'm cooking bacon in the oven. DH is on a BLT kick since he has fresh tomatoes. All he will have to do is warm it in the microwave for a minute.
Better get started on my 50 trips to the camper. lol

Storms keep redeveloping just west of me and the torrential rains continue. We have had at least 6 inches of rain in the past several hours with more coming. My NOAA weather radio is busy updating all the flash flood warnings for the area, including downtown Minneapolis. The lake will come up at least 10 inches from this with the runoff. Just can't believe how hard it is raining right now!!

Doing a little housework today and plan on a nap later.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Beck is good, no sign of growth, he will be out of it the rest of the day.
Barbara, sorry about your vacation. Wish I could bring you some chicken soup and hot tea to help you feel better.
Running for supplies and loading the dry things, we passed the camper to the truck, Beck started dancing at the door, he is so ready for another trip.

Glad to hear Beck is OK!
Went to the store to get more soup and milk and of course forgot that I put my cash and debit card in my fanny pack for the trip, so had to drive back home to get that and go back to the store. Now I am all wiped out and need a nap!
Found out that some roads around here are closed due to flooding and mudslides. Walked down to the dock earlier and the lake is up almost a foot already and not all the runoff has reached the lake yet. Will probably go up another several inches yet. Most docks on the lake are under water now. I am sure my dad's lower back yard is completely flooded now. Luckily, his house is up on a hill. I guess we shouldn't complain. There are whole towns in southern Minnesota that are completely under water.
