Good morning!

Another great blood test for me yesterday. Triglycerides and cholesterol better 4 years running without their drugs. I'm very happy.

The moon was spectacular last night. I didn't stay awake the whole time, which I intended to do. Cannot believe I decided to go to bed lol.

We got snow here last night so not even a peek at the moon.

Mickie, I hope your weather starts to warm up for you.

Today is tax day and glad it's over and done with for another year. We had sunshine this morning but now we're having showers which will last through most of the day and night. Due to the cold front moving into the east coast, we're delaying our trip north until the weather settles down.

I hope those with health issues are feeling better, that everyone on the road is safe and that everyone else is happy.

Ava (Alice). SOOOOOOOO happy for you !! You are one presistant person and an example of setting a goal and laying out the route to get there and really keeping to it !! You certainly deserve this !!!

Carolb, loved your northernly route home. Sounds great, so much to see and so beautiful. Keep us posted , ok ??

Anita, sure would love to make that trip to AK with you. When are you leaving ??

As you can tell this is a happy for others morning and a wishy one for me Not up on news, I'm sure there are others to be happy for and more wishes I could make but---------

CArol, I thought of you when I decided to go knowing you want to make another trip up there!

I saw the Blood Moon, but I didn't stay up for the whole thing. L was just here and said it did get 'redder'. Should have had the camera on the tripod!

Beth, good for you on the cholesterol. My last test was high and I was to have a blood test 6 months later, but I haven't done it. I seem to have these tests after I have been off my normal eating routine! I won't be partaking of all the great food at the Kansas GTG because I'll be having blood work the next week - gonna be a good girl this time!!

Irmi, if this crazy weather keeps up, you may never get home!!

Just got home from my follow up visit with the doctor. Things look good at this point.

Got up at 2:30 to see the moon. Was pretty small but could see the orange/red color to it. When the moon first came up around 8pm, it was huge and orange then and was beautiful! Kind of like a harvest moon.

Colder today in the upper 20's with snow expected tonight, but not much I don't think. Will be back near 60 by next Sunday and warm all week after that.

Up on the roof early this morning..well, kind of early...got one of the swamp coolers on line. A little early to be doing it, but it's been pretty warm here. Doesn't bother me that much, but it's hard for me to sleep when the Chew monster lays there and pants for a couple of hours. As Beth said, the things we do for our fur babies. She got a bath and a hair cut yesterday...well, part of a hair cut. I'll finish it up in a couple of days. She only lets me do so much and then she's done with it. Can't blame her, I'm pretty much the same way.

Good job, Beth, on the numbers! Anita, we'll miss you at the potlucks! I've been eating pretty healthy, too, so I'm sure there'll be stuff there for you. There's a really really good grocery and a couple of health food stores in Fayetteville. I'm gonna check them out when I'm there next month for my twins HS graduation. Mapquest has me routed thru Fayetteville on the way to the GTG. Planning on spending the night there anyway to have dinner with the twins. The one grocery in Paris where my son lives (and where I'll be departing from) only has things you can fry. If you get my drift. Typical Arkansas store. He said a health food store opened there last year. Didn't even last 6 months.

OK, gotta go over to the shopping center...I have a 30% off coupon for Kohls.... Have a wonderful day every one and be safe!

Spent the morning with Ava--after her morning bus run. We got much accomplished in her rig! She has a really nice spot in the park--someday I may be where she is

Catherine, how fun to be walking the beaches of SD! Hope you & Lyn gtg again--I'm so sorry I missed you Lyn & hope your back continues to feel better.

Thanks Beth & Liz for the pm's. Looks like I'll get to see both of you on my way home! Will be delaying my leave from here til middle of next week, as the weather in Utah looks a bit chilly for the nights. Irmi, can certainly understand your delay:)
