Well, Here Comes Tuesday Alrighty...Morning All

... This Snowman is kinda like how I feel...I know I need to move my body..but somehow it forgot to tell my brain...Hello up there !!!....Ok, so there is more to my story...hmmmm...well, would you believe that it was the first time I ever went to Kareoka..I have always heard about it..saw it on TV..but, never had I ever seen it in person... It's one of those things you have to do in life...It's a must if you have it in your area...I was amazed, stunned, and gasping for words.. I had heard songs I never heard before and like GentleladyBear (Nan) said, They will have a new meaning in my life !!! What happens to these individuals when they get on stage !!!! Look out Simon, Randy and Paula.. you've got a big surprise coming this year..LOL Oh, and I caught the line dancing too..Yes, we were even treated to that as well..all on the same stage...even saw a couple that dressed alike.(hubby and wife team)..now ya know they've done this routine before...I can just picture me telling Robert .."here dear, we is wearing this..vest and all...Heeee Hawwwww!!!... It was surely a treat, one that I'm willing to share again...so come on down..LOL Company was fantastic..and so game for anything... Gosh Nan, I'm missing ya already...was fun and felt really cozy too...relaxing and a needed visit...again, I thank you !! I've got another agenda planned hahahahaha....

Sparkle..(Jean) Nan sure does have a very pretty smile..but did ya forget we done met her last year at the Florida GTG..LOL Ok, now I'm gearing to get that going after the holidays get through..and my hubby (Robert) is coming down Jan 8th thru the 15th..

Birdbybird..(Tina) ouch you get them wisdom teeth taken care of... and I know what ya mean...now you can understand how I fumble through..lost all 4 of mine several years ago.... and do hope your Remi is ok.. love the statue look..I have one that does that..but he does it while intimidating...stiffed leg and all...

Carolinagal...(Carol) we sure do aim to please..Fernie has the biggest campfire in Online history..and as for my Kitchen ..well, you know us Italians..we always have it open 24- 7...and a big blue coffee pot a perking

We just love having all of you with us..we are a part of a dynamic group of real wonderful sista's with a few brothers thrown in too..and of course a herd of good critters....and if we don't have a story to tell...WELL...we'll make one up LOL..

Cedar, you could have won that Kareoka... I just know it ..In fact I can't wait to hear you strum your tunes...we've got some neat GTGs gonna happen this summer in Pa too..and who knows maybe we'll get a caravan together to Pop up in your neck of the woods..ooooooooooh boy !!!

RV Granny (Lori and Ernie) What's with this crazy weather..boy that is foggy..did ya catch anything..????? Is it fish for dinner yet

Who's doing the cleaning of them ...ewwwwwwww..

Bether's I can see why you like that beach..but you too with the fog...same here in Florida... we is under siege of the FOG...oh and Bethers..LOL YOu know I is as bad as you... best kept secret...who's this dinner cooking guy LOL Not bad...I'd sure love someone cookin for me... I'd bring the salad too hahahaha

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill) I so loved those pictures..gosh I wanna go to Kino too... now 2010..mmmmmm crossing fingers..maybe our gas prices will stay low ????? ooooooh that would be one heck of a meeting place...whatcha think ...well, if I hit the lottery I'd treat all my sista's..

Snowball (Sheila) are you out at Quartzite ? Gosh the desert has to be real pretty...how long are you and hubby staying there..and where is your next destination... are ya heading in to Texas by any chance ???? Check out with Sparkle and Beth and Retired Happy..there's a GTG coming soon in their area..

Ok, I guess it's that time..I've been drifting in and out..and I know the holidays are having everyone busy...sure hope Nasoosie (Soosie) is having a great visit...and can't wait to see them pictures..of thawing...from the warmth of her family..

Ok, dear sista's I'm heading due East..(to the Kitchen) have to make some breakfast treat..have some Cinnamon Bread ..mmm that sounds good..and I have to make an Apple Cake..Bethers, I'm gonna try yours today...feels like some soft boiled eggs on toast..now that's been awhile ...

Good Morrrrrrrning Barbzeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm up early today and I don't even have to go to work. After spending yesterday with my pal Susie in Middlebury, VT I really have to get busy today and get some stuff done around the house. No more playing!

The boxes of Christmas decorations are waiting in the kitchen, they have to go back to the basement. The tree needs to be disassembled and stored. I have several bags of things to re-sort and re-pack for the Salvation Army thrift store. And laundry up the azoooo to get done! I seem to get more done when i'm going to work every day. Something about these long vacations that I get lazy. Oh my!

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Yep Barbz you is in fine form this week, your writing chapters. LOL Which is fantastically awesome. I confess I don't read every single posting line by line. But then along comes Barbz and dang if she doesn't talk about something I've missed and have to go back and reread!!! Or else I've read it and it didn't stick in the wrinkles of my memory and I have to check it out again. ~sigh~ Don't know which is worse? Not reading or forgetting???? CRS strikes again!!!

Work for us'ins today of course. whoopie

. I am so looking forward to this weekend!! I am taking the whole blasted thing off!!! Will get New Years Day off but then I am gonna take turns cleaning house and vegging out for the weekend. I just bet that Kelly will want to go to the movies, that's what she likes to do for her "me" time.

And I will either stay home or maybe Shade and I will go for a ride? If I put it up to a vote I know Shade's answer already. I really need to find some place where I can turn her loose and let her run to her little hearts content! Use to take her to the cemetery in Maine but haven't found a good spot down here. And she does love to run when she gets the chance and I don't have to worry about traffic. I have taken her to one of the cemeteries here once. OMG she went nuts when I pulled into the driveway. She started whining and crying and was bouncing off the windows, poor little thing. The back yard is good but she just can't get a good run out there. So I will have to look around!

Think I will stop into Books-a-Million and see what they have in the calendar selection. Haven't gotten a new one for 2009 and guess I'd better get off my butt and find one. Last years was Maxine. Gads I love her!!! LOL Found one a few years ago of a bunch of men from some town out in the northwest who posed nude with strategically placed things to cover the hangie down parts. It was the best laugh, my landlord was highly insulted that I had that kind of calendar. But it was alright for him to have a girlie one? MEN!!!

Ok off of here and heading out the door. Kelly is dragging her feet this morn. KIDS!!!! LOLOLOL

Well, well.....all the usual suspects are up and moving this morning.... :lol:

Grabbing my cup of coffee here, Zeee, and will have one of those soft boiled eggs and toast with ya'......

Went thru my end of the month "Things to Do" list....you know, pay bills, grocery shopping, etc......was going to start some of it today, but , Hey, it's the holidays, I think I can put them off for another couple of days....don't want to spoil the mood..

Being lazy, doing what I want to do, eat what I want to eat.....

Oh, we do that already.....it's called being retired...... :lol:

Oh, well, you get my drift.... :lol:

The fishing hasn't been very good the last couple times we've been out, but hoping with the nicer weather coming for the next 7-8 days, we'll do better and we've found a new place to drown those bait items.....and we're looking forward to the "blue crab" to start running here....the locals tell us it starts in Jan....

Okay, am off to check out in more details on all the stuff Zeee re-capped for us this morning...

ahhhhh, Tuesday already, what to do what to do
I have the little Shasta dog over for a week or so, dogsitting, and everything is
going well except my sleep is getting a little disturbed as there seems to be
a little grumbling coming from my own crew cause they are fussing over
territory in the bed. Shasta is so cute, she gives everyone that look that says "whats
that funny noise coming from your throat?" She doesn't seem to understand
growling but she respects it, just not the why part.
I want to go take a ride on the new light rail that went into operation over the
weekend. Rides are free for a couple days so gonna go check it out, took 2 years
to build and certainly made a mess in downtown Phoenix with the streets all tore
up.
Ran out of propane this morning, all this freezing weather we've had my furnace
has been running ALOT! Had to plug in the electric radiator for now.
I'm off to read new posts so ya'll have a great day and stay warm and always be
safe.

Good morning, all! So sorry to have been missing in action for a couple of days! I feel I have to squeeze all I can into this one short week that my son and Melissa will be here. We have been very busy with power outages, due to heavy winds here, driving our Suzuki Sidekick (our Kicker) all over the place through the deep, soft snow, playing cribbage into the wee hours of the morning, and just vegging out.

Thanks for the coffee....can't believe how late it is! Good to see Barb up and about, too!

Tonight we are planning to have our New Year's Eve bonfire out by the party barn, IF these horrendous winds die back enough to make it possible. Tomorrow night, the kids will celebrate together at my daughter's new house north of here, so I will bring in the New Year alone. I hope they recover enough to be able to drive back here on Thursday for one last day before they have to leave again for FL on Friday evening.

I might be able to put the video I took of the kicker ride on Photobucket, and then I can give you all a link to get to see it! It's such a fun thing to do!

Barb, I love the frosty dude! I'm here and sucking down that cuppa tea...gonna have another one here in a minute. Been reading and catching up. Glad the Holidays are almost over. Been feeling like a doormat for my family here of late. But I won't go into it here. Let's just say I've decided to put my big girl panties on and deal with it!

Barb and Nan, somehow I don't think we are getting the whole story here! But that's okay...it sounds like you all had a great time getting together and made some memories! That's what it's all about, isn't it?

Sparkle and Beth, you all are having too much fun too! I don't think we are getting the whole story there either. But Sparkle, I think I would have pulled the poor ole widder woman too if the golf cart had died!!!! Better to steer!

Been busy here at work trying to get the end of year stuff done so we can move forward on Friday! And now they have added an extra second to 2008! Man, I've had enough...couldn't they just have waited and added it to 2009?

Okay, gots to get busy here at work.

Morning all,

Don't know much about how the fishin' is going generally - since i don't fish LOL But one of the guys here caught a gigantic fish a couple days ago - everyone was running out to see it and take pics. I was walking Peaches and a couple people were driving up to his place from their rigs as they were afraid if they walked, he'd have already gutted and cleaned it LOL. Sorry Lori and Ernie - I wasn't one of those who felt the need to take a picture.

Ouch - thought I had 10 more minutes of break, but the radio just jumped to life for housekeeping- so off I go. Guess I'll read more later.
