Yep, It's moving day...and I slept like crap. ...got 5 hrs., but it was restless sleep....guess it's because we're heading up the road....well, we aren't going more than 40 miles, so we'll get settled in and I'll take a nap sometime this afternoon.... ;)

Forecast has it warmer in SE GA, but with a 30% chance of rain...Hope we get stuff set up before that comes...

Okay, just offering coffee this early today, but there is cereal and milk, too...

Have a great day, all... :D

Good Morning Lori and everyone,

Have fun moving today Lori and Ernie. I know you are really looking forward to seeing your old "gang" again. Should be fun. And hopefully weather will cooperate for you.

Sitting here watching HGTV for a bit this morning. Expecting snow to start before long as next storm is working it's way across the Great Lakes area. Least it will be snow here and not freezing rain/sleet BJ is supposed to get. Snow total here are now at 134 inches. Average is about 145 for entire winter season. Definitely going to go over that as we have all of two more months of heavy winter weather ahead yet. Spent yesterday working outside, cleaning up snow from here and there and cutting banks back by my mailbox and along my drive. Things you do when you have a lull in the snow. House roof is being cleared off next week, 2-3 feet of snow up there right now.

Barbie, hope it was nothing serious with your car. Need to wish belated Happy Birthday's to all those who's birthdays I have missed and also extend a Welcome to all the new folks who have joined us. Also enjoying the updates on the fL GTG.

Am RVing dreaming these days. Want to get a different trailer and also new tow vehicle. I miss my old Mini Lite which I sold a couple of years ago due to financial reasons and it didn't have any exterior storage either. Does now, so will be taking a look at the new models later on when spring rolls around. it was a honey of a small trailer to tow. Not peachy on slide outs too much, but I know a lot of people have them. Look at them as another thing to worry about having issues with.

Hoping to head to our local Home Depot this morning. They are having a Home Show and some workshop/clinics. One on Basic Wiring and Electrical. Want to go take that one so I can learn how to change my exterior fixtures in spring.

Enough chatter this morning. Time to get moving. Have a wonderful day all. Keep warm at the GTG, enjoy yourselves if you are out traveling etc.

Good mornin' Lori, Sue & all that follow. Short move Lori, but probably nice to see some new scenery too. Woke up to already 3 inches of snow and supposed to snow thru 6PM tonight. I used to like shoveling more than cutting grass, but not so much this year. Instead of shoveling just when it snows, this year I'm shoveling multiple time in one day making me not a happy camper :D

I hope the roads are somewhat OK today. Physical therapy for the foot surgery has been taking a lot of my time, and I need to get Molly to the vet. It may be her time, but I thought that a month ago too, and the vet said 'not yet'. She may be in some pain, but she is still so alert and happy, but it's getting to the point where it's not a life for her anymore if she can barely walk  . So hard to do and have done it before, but it's never easy. Will have to see what the vet says this month.

Sorry for being down, but I do hope that everyone on the road is safe & warm. For the rest of us ~~~ think Spring!

Good Morning ladies
what a very long week for me and emotionally challenging. (stuff I don't care to post on a public forum, however, face to face, I'll spill
my guts) Although if I wait long enough, I'll forget all about and it won't be an issue anymore  Sometimes CRS syndrome has its perks.
Glad to see my ticker really counting down :D and real soon but not soon enough my raise kicks in :D
Getting the laundry done at this moment and soon as the morning part of the day is over I'll get the car loaded with stuff and get it out
to the fifthwheel. If I make another load tomorrow I'll be down to bare minimum here for the remainder of my stay.
oops, power outage, gotta run as I'm runnin off battery.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

on edit....power outage due to main circuit breaker, all is good for the moment.

Good morning. Just checking in to say HI! Hope everyone survived the last arctic blast OK. I am still grieving the loss of my brother. Also babysitting DH's 3 yo autistic grandson regularly while parents go through divorce. DIL having mental breakdown  Lots of changes going on and less time to spend looking at social media. We took RED down to Mustang Island and really enjoyed our time.

With the loss of a loved one and other family ups and downs we have decided to down size our lives and spend more time on the road. Down sizing means Sell house (with all the land and pool maintenance) and find a small home base. Yesterday, we down sized DHs truck from the big F250 diesel super duty to a 150 and traded my non towable Volvo for a Ford Edge (that's not it in the picture). Both can be used as a TOAD. Today going to CW to check out the sale prices for towing and braking systems for the Edge because they have a $39 install special.

Safe travels to everyone. Aloha, Red

Good morning all! :D

Not much going on here, but good to hear all about your doings! Ava, good attitude about the "pita" stuff--some things do just go away on their own. Looking forward to seeing you next month, & if you still need to "spill your guts," I'm a good listener ;)

Red, so great to see you back! Really great changes for you--tragic losses often remind us of what's important in life. :( Glad to hear you're taking positive steps to get there. Barbie, hope Coco bounces back!

May give my HarBor a bath today. Drought here in CA, but I haven't heard much about water rationing, so I'll make it a quick one anyway. Can hardly see out my back window

Wishing y'all a great day! 8-)

As Cheryl said, snow, snow and more snow here in Illinois. Lucky me has no where to go today so it's laundry and housekeeping. I really need to clean out my car, and I think I'll do a little baking, too. Chocolate chip cookies, anyone? Everyone have a good day! :D

I remembered to say "rabbits" this morning! I need all the luck I can get right now

My car is at the shop over the weekend. It didn't get towed in until last night because the towing company was still busy with calls from the snowstorm the day before. So there it sits until Monday before getting looked at. And there goes my tax refund!

Just waiting here for a ride to work. Luckily I just live a mile from work so it is easy for one of the gals to pick me up on their way in and drop me off at the end of the day.

Coco is still in good spirits and still wants to get out of the cage and trot around for a little while. But I think his time here is borrowed. The vet says most of his food is being consumed by the tumor, so that is getting larger while he is getting thinner. Ferrets typically get to a point where they just crash one day and then it is over for them. Sometimes you can bring them around for awhile with syringe feedings of liquid kibble, but he wont' get near that stuff (most ferrets love it), so there won't be much we can do once he crashes but to bring him in and send him on to the Rainbow Bridge. For now tho, he seems happy and comfortable.

Have a little cold coming back on so am hitting the Zicam again. Probably from going to the warm moist air to the dry cold air again.

Have a good day!

Good Morning,

Cool but sunny!

The camper was loaded onto the new truck Thursday. The duallies cleared the jacks and the camper cleared the cab clearance lights. I did the backing but LeRoy watched outside. Loading it on my own would just mean lots of jumping in and out of the driver's seat. Only snag is the backup camera - possibly just a wire.

Yesterday we led a desert ride west of here near Brenda - 6 ATVs including us. The others all have places in a nearby 'development' and are great fun. Beautiful scenery but cool, cloudy with some wind - wore my extra layers all day. We were in a good place for the rock hounds with us.

Ava, I never remember this forum is public! Know it often helps get over these PITAs by telling the story so hoping you have someone to talk to!

Chris, glad to hear what is happening with you!

Wishing everyone a great day no matter what is going on!

Molly and I will go to the recycle place this afternoon. It is very wet outside but not raining.
Looking forward to the predicted 80s this week.
Ava it is getting closer and closer... yea yea yea
Take care everyone.

Beautiful day here at Glamis, sunny and so far no wind. Stayed in all day yesterday in one or another rv, so looking forward to getting out on the dunes today! That's all from sunny SoCal for now, hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all.
Chris, So sorry for your loss. You do need time to grieve so it looks like you picked a good place - the beach for part of the time.
I love the pic of your RV on the beach. There's an area near me (central coast of CA) where lots of folks camp out on the beach in their RVs. The sand here doesn't look as firm as the sand where you are though. Enjoy your rest time. I guess once you sell the house, you will be traveling more and more??

Good to hear from you, Chris.

Big news here at FL gtg is it is not raining, still chance of showers but the sun has even peeked out a couple of times. By late morning I got out of my long johns ans sweat suit finally!!!
Annette, Margie and Roger left this morning. Dell arrived.
Some of the ladies are out on a winery tour this afternoon. The rest of us are happy to be able to visit outside and hoping for more sunshine to help dry the place out.

Thanks to Barbie I remembered to say "rabbits". lol I only had to remember for about 5 minutes.

Good to see you posting Red. I almost sent you a PM because I hadn't seen you post in a while. Some of us went to Mustang Island a couple of years ago.

I went off to Lafayette with my friend this afternoon. They were having a big sale at the shoe store and I could probably have found some but I started feeling bad and the smell was about to make me sick. They wanted me to go eat with them but I didn't feel up to it. It's not often that I feel too bad to shop or eat. I'm fight the urge to go to bed because if I go to sleep now I will be up at midnight.
