And it hasn't let up, yet.... Don't know what it looks like outside as it's still dark, but bet it's a mess...SE GA isn't use to this stuff...schools are closed, etc...

My cleaning schedule is backed up until tomorrow....so will do some counted cross-stitching and watch the news and weather instead...

Mornin' Lori & all that follow. Looks like we'll make it to the teens or low 20's today. Heat wave! At least with the fridig temps the roads are dry around here so as long as the vehicles start you can get around

Nothing major happening around here today. Already at work and really dont' feel like starting yet, could have slept some more.

Bit of blowing snow around here right now too. Supposed to be a nice day later on though. Slowly starting to emerge from the deep freeze as well. Been watching weather and I know those of you in the south are dealing with some messy weather that you are not used to. Hang in there. This too shall pass.

Have some fun shopping planned for today if mom nature cooperates. New HDTV, maybe new TV stand, time to let go of the old TV set finally. Maybe new area rug for living room. Now that I have painted my way through kitchen, living room and hallway, time to redecorate a bit. Contemplating putting S&B on market later this spring. Where too from here is not determined yet.

JudyJB, I'll bet you are feeling guilty or maybe just a tad bit guilty about being in nice warm weather, while we are freezing way up here in Michigan, NOT As to your question about my flag. No, I don't put it up and take it down every day. It's up 24/7. Just noticed the other day that it is starting to rip. So guess there will either be a flag repair session or a new flag in my future. But that will be happening in spring when I can access the flagpole.

Sounds like the Hillsborough GTG is going strong and everybody's having a good time. Nice to have the pavilion there and the fire looked cozy. Soos I know is really worried about Molly as she is not doing well.

Am off to check emails and get things ready to roll around here so when mom nature quits her snowy tantrums out there, I will head off to town. Have a wonderful day all, keep warm and safe.

Good morning from chilly Florida. Will only be a 20 degree difference between Minneapolis and here today (25* there and 45* here!)

Yesterday we drove down to Tarpon Springs on the Gulf and spent the day shopping in the cute little stores there. That is where they harvest natural sea sponges. I bought some cute earrings and tops there, among other things (freshly made fudge!). The weather was perfect!

Today will be cold and rainy. At least we are not getting that aweful freezing rain and snow they have just north of here!
Many people were stuck on the roads in Atlanta for 12hours or more yesterday!

Will probably just head to Walmart and relax for the rest of the day. Tomorrow morning we are heading out early down to Clearwater Beach to bum around before heading to the airport.

Good Morning everyone... Yes the topic of the day in Ocala is this frigid weather it is now 43 will be a balmy (LOL) 43 (guess it is already there) today... and we also had rain all night... burrrrrrrrrrrrr
I finally got the bushel of Shadow hair cleaned out yesterday getting ready for more!! He sure sheds a lot...
Molly and I went out to eat on Monday and to Walmart I got a twin sized electric blanket to put on the couch and a cloth table cloth to cover it... OH my does it ever feel good on my legs and back this morning... hopefully it will alleviate the pain some... old body is giving up...
I tried to bake chicken and stuffing in my small toaster oven but the chicken stayed raw... will try again today so know what I am having for dinner!!

Good morning all

Thankfully, I'm in one of the few areas having very decent & warm weather. What a mess in so many parts of the country! FL gtg a bit on the cold side even, but looks like all are having fun!

Got together with some HS friends on Mon evening--one lives on Balboa Island, so we gathered at her place. It's probably been over 40 years since I'd been to BI! So much development here in SoCal, or should I say "over-development"! Still doesn't take away from the beauty of the beaches! Great pix of the Baja beaches--a few of you "Baja Babes" heading back north??? Wishing safe travels to you & all others on the road (or in the air Barbie).

Liz and I moved all of about 1 1/2 miles today. Yep it's hard work being on the beach with the sunshine, but someone has to do it. I feel for all of you with the cold weather. We felt a couple raindrops this week but that was it. Tomorrow we'll be back to the beach near Mulege for several days. Our return north will be a slow, leisurely one.
