Good morning, all...have been up for a couple of hours, but had computer updates to do and of course, Spinner, did a longer than usual potty walk today...so am now just catching up....

I'm one of those people who suffer from "not enough light in the winter" ( know there's a word for this, but can't get the spelling right... ) anyways, so am so glad that the weather folks have us nice and sunny for the next week or so...

So, today, will get a few "housekeeping chores" done and then work on my craft projects...Ernie's doing his daily trip to the store, plus get a couple propane tanks filled...then I think we'll sit out awhile....

Have to get a new coffee pot soon, this one is on it's way out....taking "forever" to brew....but I was patient again today and am ready for another cup...

So will stop for now...

The temps are dropping here throughout the day and the winds are up to 45 mph, so very bitter outside with the windchills.

Lori, you are talking about SAD, seasonal affective disorder. I get that too. I have a Happy Light, but it bit the dust last week, so I need to get another one. Hopefully, I will get enough sunshine in Florida to keep me happy for awhile once I get back!

Hello, it isn't morning any longer, but gosh where is everyone ?? Lori, starts our mornings off so cheerful most of the time, and with goodies, and then none of us respond, I'm just as guilty. Surely not everyone is in limbo such as I am??? Something must be happening fun for some of you, I sure hope so anyway. I found yesterday that I will have cataract surgery. The 5th of Feb. will consult with the surgeon and hopefully it won't be a long wait until I have the first one done. I need to be heading home, mid March, have an appointment with dr. to have test to make sure cancer is not lurking somewhere. Right now, am trying to figure what I will do in the couple wks I have before seeing this dr again. So many things running in my head.

Really have nothing else to write, so undecided here, my biggest problem as you all know. Will try to be at the GTG a couple of days at least. Wondering Sarah, when you think you might be heading south??? GTG is getting close and know you are signed up for it. Have been praying that your niece will be ok soon, so you will leave her, after all you have had to deal with this winter you really need a break to keep your sanity, I think.

Hope everyone is doing ok, and just lazy or not sure what to write, like me. Know I am not only one in that boat !!!

I agree, not much posting going on, but if it's like around here, all the days are the same old boring stuff. Cold weather & sick germs floating around, that's what it seems like my life is right now, waiting for warmer weather so we can get out of Dodge!
