Good Morning
Still raining here - been a long gloomy weekend and only half gone. Got a dry but COLD forecast to end 2013 and start 2014. Hard to believe the year is just about over. Did not get around to paying bills yesterday so that is on today agenda along with cleaning house. Not very exciting.
So dreaming of that big deserted beach in MX where the Baja babes are playing. It looks so warm and peaceful.
Have a good day.

Still deciding on breakfast - where's Lori? I need suggestions

Good Morning, Cloudy and supposed to turn colder for the week, I won't complain though after seeing Barbie post that it was not going to be above zero with wind chills in the -30's ACK now that is cold!!
Just saw over on RV .net that part of the road into Baja collapsed :o

"A 300-yard section of scenic highway near the U.S. border collapsed Saturday, sinking up to 300 feet and forcing the closure of the route, according to reports.
Mexico’s federal highway authority says the collapse occurred about 58 miles south of the border city of Tijuana, according to The Associated Press. The road leads to the port city of Ensenada, on the Baja California peninsula."

Are the BB's stranded on the beach!?

Need to get in gear I'm hungry and there is nothing here for breakfast, guess we'll all have to go out :)

Good Morning! raining here in Ocala also...
My daughter Gwen had emergency gallbladder surgery yesterday... she came through with flying colors... now many stories they will share about the hospital stay... they were suppose to do the surgery on Friday but there were so many emergencies that the surgeon did not get to her until 3pm Sat! It had already started to leak... glad it is in the past now...
I think today is one of those days to stay inside as the rain pours down... maybe a day for a nap!
take care everyone
Kathleen

I TOLD Mitch she was taking too much stuff!

I'm up early, Ronnie still has lingering crud from since before Christmas. When a man in the house is sick, the whole house suffers. :x

Kathleen, I'm so glad your daughter's surgery went well, even if delayed.

Good Morning,

Maybe Lori is finally getting some good sleep - I didn't wake until after 11!!!

Cloudy. In Washington State when the forecast says 'rain', we know it's coming. Here, one never knows.

Tomorrow is moving day so will start securing for the short drive. I'll be moving to Blue Spring State Park for a few days. Hard to believe Carolb and I will be headed west a week from tomorrow!

LeRoy sent me the RV.Net link about the Baja road - ugly scene but the BBs are beyond it. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fusea ... 433590.cfm

Kathleen, I'm glad your daughter's surgery went well! Vickie, I always feel sorry for whoever is stuck in a house with a sick man! :)

Just a post script. My daughter Gwen is home. The stone was the size of a gulf ball and many others in sludge... the third largest stone the surgeon ever saw... how awful... but how very glad it is gone...

Wind wind and more wind here in the desert! Good day to stay inside and watch everyone else go out to play in the dunes. Don't like them in the wind, you can't always tell what's on top.

Yup, I agree, if there's a sick man in the house, everyone is miserable! Kath, glad your daughter is ok. I just heard that my sister and my dad both had gallbladder surgery within the last few weeks.

Kathleen, Im glad to hear that your daughter is home now and doing well. Vickie, Hope Ronnie is feeling better soon. That lingering part has got to be the worst, no wonder he's cranky.

Not much going on around here. Will be at least 30 degrees colder today than yesterday, but it is due to warm up again during the week. At least no more storms are in the forecast.

That road looked really bad, but I've seen potholes in MN bigger than that!

Kathleen, your daughter must have been in a lot of pain with stones that large! Glad to hear that is all taken care of now.

Only -12 right now  . Yesterday we got up to the upper 40's and today only to -5. What a difference a day makes around here! Luckily, the winds have died down so no windchills. Am counting down the days til I go to Florida!!

I get my Nook tomorrow! Yay! I am reading "Nooks for Dummies" right now to get ready! Ha!
