Thursday, the final cleaning

Postby carolb » Thu Dec 19, 2013 6:01 am

Good morning all :D

Missed yesterday, & sooooooo great to see you back Red :D Thoughts of comfort are still with you....Ginger, glad to see you joining us for coffee! Irmi, soon on your way, hooray! Many to follow for the Hillsborough gtg, & that better include WENDY!!!! I agree, you may NOT leave us!

But I also will not be at the gtg & will head west also on Jan 6th, doing a little travel with Anita :D I posted on GTG that I have another "calling" to visit/help another 94yo aunt in CA!!! She's a very special one, my godmother who was REALLY a godmother! Always treated me with extra attention....

Well, exterminator didn't make it on Tues, so it was yesterday afternoon. Too late to start all the cleaning, so it's my big day for that! Now, is that why I woke at 4:00 a.m. Just can't wait to get to it!

Loved seeing the Baja Babes at Sharon's--well I guess there were more poopers than babes, though!

Y'all have a great day, be safe & treasure the moments always! 8-)

Good morning, Carolb, and all that follow....Slept in today 'til 7am....they guys were already up, then, and headed out for Spinner's morning walk....so I got my coffee and have been playing on this here machine since....but do need to get my butt in gear and start the day.... ;)

Gift buying is done, cards & presents mailed out to those in PA, and now, only thing left is the holiday cleaning....so will try to get that done today or tomorrow...I haven't decided yet.... Need more coffee, yet, before making that decision.... ;)

Sharon has a yard full of lady RVers for the holiday....If I know this crew, we're in for some fun tales and adventures...can't wait..... ;)

Okay, better get going here and finish up my surfing.....

Have a great day, all....

Good mornin' Carol, Lori & all the late sleepers. Glad that Tina decided to continue on to Baja and not back to Ohio with the previous cold weather. I'm looking forward to more posts, pic and stories :P

Welcome back Red. I'm sorry for your loss. Take your time, but know that the ladies are always here for your.

Well, back to work, how boring :|

Good Morning !!, Running the Gen this morning, batteries way to low to run house heat so have batteries charging while running electric heater. Supposed to be almost 80 today but down in low 40s overnight. Warming up real nice for next few days and nights though so that will be good.

Last night was tree trimming night. What fun watching the two little ones, they each had their favorite ornaments and DD had Christmas music playing, very nice evening. Unlike Lori, I still have many cards to get out, I do so many and usually write in most, a personal note , especially to older family and friends.

Time for my other cup of coffee , limited to two cups, so I thoroughly enjoy them. Will browse to see what's happening, with everyone. My family are gone to work and school, so the day is waiting for Maggie and Me. She saying she'd like a walk around the lake, I'm trying to tell her to chilly yet, guess whose going to win  :D

Have a great day, enjoy and do something fun for yourself, above all keep safe,
CArol :)

Good morning! A cleaning day today for house and RED. Also helping daughter sort and pack to put her stuff in storage while she's at boot camp and training. While a WDW I would stop by Anita's for a chat while walking Tyler. I sure miss not having that morning chat :P On the last day we realized we had not taken one single photo. So just before she pulled out we grabbed someone to snap a shot. Here it is:

Good Morning,

Thanks, Red, for the photo - I was hoping you had a better one than I did! It took me a couple days after I left WDW to remember Chris wasn't just down the road! The rig behind us was my next door neighbor's.

Love the gathering at Sharon's! Know there is much laughter.

Yep, Carolb and I will head west on January 6! I did get a call about the used truck last night, but I didn't buy it. Lost my nerve of doing sight unseen I guess. Too far to ask LeRoy to go look at it. Actually, this all started with ordering a truck which wouldn't have made me so uneasy.

Hope all have a good day - even you Carolb as you clean! ;)

Good Morning to All from a rainy Huatabampito - dark and wet out but one of the warmest mornings here yet.
They finished the painting on the Alfa yesterday will post pictures of it in the blog later after a couple cups of coffee get my brain working.
Tomorrow they will come to do some touch up and finish work. And we will be here for a while yet. The Jeep blew something yesterday - I think an important part - cause it is making a horrid noise and doesn't want to move. Mechanic will tow it to shop this morning. Sure glad they have a lot of Jeeps in Mexico - they make them here. Hopefully we can find someone who will "rent " us a car until it is fixed.
Going to send out our laundry today - get it back all nice and clean and folded.
Looks like it is finally warming up at home in Indiana - what a nasty cold spell.
Glad to see the Baja Gals are getting closer - wish they were coming this way to mainland Mexico - would love to have them around.
Everyone drive safely and have fun what every you are doing.

Sunny and warmer today with yard full of robins.
A few errands to get out of the way then back to the usual grindstone.
Have a good day.
