I am rested from yesterday and going to start a little later today as tonight is the Very Merry Christmas Party.

Red and Tyler stopped by this morning - was good to give her a hug! We'll catch each other at the party tonight.

Good Morning… was a noisy night here not exactly sure why. have not ventured out as of yet.
Today will be 71 which helps the spirit… Yesterday the sun came out about noon oh how welcome it was.,,

Good morning, It's cloudy but warm here today but not supposed to last. Katherine be glad you are in Fl, forecast for IL is freezing rain, snow and low temperatures for several days starting Thursday
Anita glad you are rested and ready to go again, glad to hear Red and Tyler stopped by, I think she made a wise decision although I know it was a difficult one, to not travel at this time. Weather just sounds to risky and she might have spent the time stranded at an air port. I think most direct flights are a thing of the past.

I've been up and cleaning already this morning, don't know what got into me

Quiet morning here... same weather here as you have, BJ, but we are going into a winter storm warning for tonight into Thursday with up to 6 inches of snow here and a lot more north of here. But fog, rain, sleet and freezing rain first. Not happy about that. Also not happy that I don't have a garage to park in this winter.

....I just checked with the caretaker and she is going to see if they can get permission to rent the garages even tho they haven't been fixed yet.

A glitch in my plans, so will keep you posted on Orlando visit. Aunt in hosp, slight stroke. Don't know for how long, rehab or what??? Neighbor is medical poa, so not on my hands, and he'll let me know what doc says later today. Visited her this a.m. Physically fine, hqs all motor skills, just having trouble getting thoughts into words. She's a tough cooki!

More than a little late, but I had to go into a UPS store today and receive a fax and fax some other things. I am going through my three 401K accounts and trying to consolidate them. Also cashing in a small CD to meet the rest of the 70 1/2 federal requirements.

It is such a pain to drive in crowds, and this town (Victorville, CA) is crowded. Had to hike to get to UPS store because I had to park in mall lot and then had to park a long way away and hike again to pick up a prescription at Walgreen's. Whew! Glad to be back in my almost empty campground. This place is right along a double set of very busy train tracks. Luckily trains do not bother my sleeping, but boy are they noisy. Saw one with 8 engines--no wonder it was so noisy. There is one every five minutes or so.

Will use tomorrow to get some work done, and then Thursday AM I will be off to Death Valley. Need to stop for a few things at Target before I go, so found one and will drive there on my way. Cooled off here, and supposed to be a frost tonight and even colder tomorrow night. Thought California was supposed to be warm!

Still waiting for the big storm to arrive. So far just foggy and misty out and 32 degrees.

Judy, what did you think of Joshua Tree? Did you get to see much of it? I loved all the big round boulders there!
