Good morning all! :D

It really makes my morning to have coffee with all of you--so many posting lately, nice to have so much company :D

Raining like crazy this a.m., with a cold front to follow. We just had 2-3 days of 60 plus weather--wouldn't you know it, since I'd just bought the heater for my HarBor   But will be needing it the next few nights before I leave.

Soos, good to see you back! Isn't it great to find Louise--yep, we're a crazy bunch (the "recipe" & all ;) ), but she's come back for more  I too would love to know where Gayle went????

Sarah, continued prayers for your neice, JudiB good luck with your procedure, & many living with Lyme disease, not as "deadly" as I thought it was. Go Red, go RED! Driving like a pro :P Did someone say "tequilla"??? Bring it on!!! I fixed some 'ritas for PeginCT at a gtg this summer & got her hooked

But this morning, just plain ol' coffee! Y'all have a great day & be safe always. Will be seeing many of you in FL soon, & I agree there could be many weekend gtgs! :D

Good morning, Carolb, and all that follow...

Not much to offer here this morning....just a regular day....but it's good not having to rush to the store, the dr., etc.....I think I can safely state that things are back to "normal" for us, for now.... ;)

So I'll pour another cup of coffee, grab a scone (blueberry), and go catch up with you all...

Have a great day, all...

If you want some uplifting this morning, check out this video. Shows woman before her mastectomy and what she did.

Mitch, thanks to you and Vickie, I got all the crosswords right pertaining to pests, meanness, ogres, etc.

Sunny here in Sarasota. Taking exDH for another try at his license. No doubt he will not pass so you can all relax.

Reaching out to Michelin today on status of my claim. Need to get the repairs started so I can join the party headed to Baja.

Have a good day everyone.

I looked her up on the member list and it says she last viewed this site in early September. Guess one of you could e-mail her?

Now, Good Morning,

Foggy here near Disney World this morning - that's a reference point because I think I am about 10 miles from there.

I have things still needing to be cleaned up due to N.C. sand - not so much the beach but from a campsite that had wet, muddy sand/soil.

Hope you all have a good day!

Good morning everyone. Joan, I love that video of the gal dancing before her mastectomy. Sara, prayers for your niece. CarolB, I'll take you up on the margarita when we meet up somewhere in FL in Dec? Looking forward to seeing Anita at Disney World. It is cool here (45) with a strong north wind blowing, making it feel much colder. Suppose to warm up to the 70s. I hope the wind dies down before I have to drive RED over to Livingston tomorrow. :P Just threw a ham hock and split peas in the crock pot. Just feels like a night for home made soup and a nice fire in the fireplace :P everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha

Gee Chris, a fire in the fireplace sounds so nice. It looks like winter approaching out there this morning as I look out my window. Not snowing or anything like that, but bare trees, grey ski and a little skiff of snow along the edge of roof tops and my clothe pole arms. Supposed to be some rain mixed with snow around here today though. But I can relax in knowing that the outside chores are done and just a few puttery things to do in the garage yet. Need to finish putting together the covers for over the shrubs that are in front of my porch.

Yep, Carolb, if the front that finally came through ere these past few days is any indication, you are going to be getting a lot of rain. And then followed by the colder air. So guess it's time to be heading out for the sunny south. Hand in there, just a few more days and off you go.

Spent some time browsing in Hobby Lobby and got the stuff I went for and no didn't get tempted by anything else  Also hit Home Depot to get another piece of lumber to cut down and take along north with me next month. Sign making projects ahead.

Think today I am going to head down the Grayling in a bit and get a new spark plug and some oil for my small snowblower so I can get that thing running before winter gets serious. The big one does most of the work, but that one is good for doing my deck and the small places around here. Also want to go browse KMart as ours closed up earlier this spring. Then will probably work in garage after that.

Need to investigate getting a portable antenna receiver or something for my current computer to pick up the WiFi signal up at the resort since I am going to be a bit farther away from it this time. I can only get it when I am right under the bedroom window at the back of my unit when I stay in one of the dog units I am usually in and no place else. I don't think my computers built in WiFi receiver is that great anymore, so need to see what I can do about it. I know Soos says she has really good luck with her GSky one, anybody else use one? The building is a combination of cement block and wood and two story, so that kind of impedes the signal too. I do need a new computer too, and have to look into that as well. Not sure what make I want this time. Have had good luck with my HP's but I know there are others that might be better.

Well, enough computer yakking. Time to be off here, if I am going to head south a bit. Talk to you all tomorrow and have a fun day all.

Good morning from cold but beautiful Colorado! Nothing too exciting, but a few of us are headed out to do karaoke tonight. I will definitely need a drink or three in me before I do that...

Would be happy to make eggs and bacon for anyone who stops by. :D

I'm off to get a spare deep cycle/marine battery and another small inverter.

Also added to my list (thank you, Red) is a ham hock and some split peas.
That sounded SOOOO good.

Just want to say a Good Morning to All. Things pretty much routine around here. Cool morning when I walk the dog at 5:20 AM. She still doesn't understand the time change. Then sunny afternoons. Enjoy following all of you on the east coast who are either in Florida, or preparing to head that way. Have a great day. lyn

Started out cool and cloudy, but then the sun came out and it got hot and humid as I did my outside chores. Put new padding on the kayak rack on the car. Cleaned out and vacuumed the inside of the car. Mounted the kayak back on it. Sweating now. Also , before the sun came out I did a load of laundry, vacuumed inside the RV, printed some forms I need to fill out before getting weighed in Livingston.

Yesterday, Thistle went to the groomer and now has his bikini cut for Baja. While he was there, I went to the bookstore to pick up a pocket Spanish-English dictionary. Also bought a pair of the now famous underwear (see General Topic).

Still to do today is fill up my fresh water tank and later I'll hook up the tow in preparation for leaving in the morning. Going to Rotunda to visit my brother and SIL or a couple days before heading to Hillsborough SP for two days and dr. appt. at Moffitt in Tampa.

So things are coming along...have a great day, productive or just fun.

One of my favorite dishes is blackeye peas and ham hock with corn bread.

I was surprised at how cool it was today and it never did get very warm. I was out in short sleeves, capris and sandals. Most people had on long pants and jackets.

I seem to be the one with an over abundance of tequila. I found something better than that. Someone at the Biloxi rally had some Apple Pie Liqueur. It was so good. I was going to look for some today but forgot.
