Another fun week at the cave "office", wishing I could be on the road . . .

If you are traveling, please post a picture of what's outside your door and tell us a little about it.

Good morning from SW Ohio. The trees are beautiful and the air crisp! The scene outside my back door is of the new deck beginning to get its railing put up. The dogs are house bound all day while they work but it will be done soon. :) Question of the morning was how far apart to place the spindles ? :o ....so that dogs wouldn't try to get their heads caught between the slats.

Good morning all.
I haven't posted in a while.

DS has been down from Ottawa helping clear out the basement here. All that remains is headed to the transfer station via 1 800 got junk. I have a large pile to donate to the church for their good as new sale which will give me a nice tax write-off. This now leaves the two upper floors to clear out with the intention of putting the house on the market come springtime.

The trailer is now winterized :( I do still plan on being in FL from mid Jan to end of Feb though.

I will be traveling up to Ottawa and Montreal this week to visit family and friends.

Mitch I read about your fantastic results. Congrats and happy Baja planning.

Have a great week everyone. I will still be lurking here and will hopefully have some photos to post when I return.

Good morning from Ocala, FL. I'm sitting at the eye doctor waiting for my eyes to dilate. Annual exam and be prescription for Restasis for dry eyes. One dr. Appt. down.

RV is at the shop while they study on how they will install the kayoo rack on the roof. Expect they'll not finish today because they will have to order necessary parts.

I'm busy getting my mailing address change at all the places I can think of that need to know.

Looking forward to our gtg at Silver Springs next week. Hope to get the kayoo in the river a few times.

Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day, and hope it's as beautiful where you are.

Good morning. Just had a soft cooked egg on a left over Red Lobster biscuit for breakfast. When I was strolling through Wallie World and there they were - stacked on an end rack screaming at me. Boxes of Red Lobster cheddar biscuits mix. OK, I know the recipe is out there and I've tried a couple versions and they were OK. But not the same. So, I decided to try the "official" brand mix. You have to add your own cheese. The mix is very light and fluffy and comes with a garlic herb butter seasoning packet to add to melted butter. I served them with chili last night. They were good were really good and just like the ones served at the restaurants. I think the garlic herb butter made the difference. Don't think I'll spend the $ again. Home made version is good enough.

Going to PT this morning, then running errands and shopping. Have a great day and stay safe.

Good Morning All, Had a nice time with friend yesterday evening. She is 92, doesn't drive anymore and loves to go out to eat! I pick her up and she pays for dinner! Such a nice arrangement.
Beth I knew you were in Yosemite when I saw your new picture...glad you and Sandi had a nice day. Good picture of you.
Still "cleaning" the Cosy Camper after my long trip. Got to get it ready for the next adventure which will be Quartzsite!

Good Morning!

I woke to 39 degrees outside this morning - brrrr.

My day did not start or end gracefully yesterday with some stupid moves on my part - lucky I didn't get myself in big trouble. I decided this morning when I woke up that my blood sugar must have been way out of whack. Must get back on eating schedule!

I left the Thousand Trails campground and searched for a decent laundromat that wasn't busy in Greensboro - finally gave up. At that point I decided I wasn't going back to the Thousand Trails park and deal with their roads to the back and my site. Met some of Steven's (late husband) family for a 4 hour visit - fun! I hadn't seen the two nephews for 10 years.

I am now in Asheboro (Steven's hometown) until Friday and parked by the 'it will do' laundry room! Paid full price last night but now on Passport America.

Hope Soos is having a good trip.

Enjoy reading what everyone is up to!

Red, the Red Lobster biscuits are great. I saw them at Walmart Saturday but I had already found them at Sam's. The Sam's box has 3 packages. You're right, the garlic mix makes the difference. When my grandson was here he would eat them for breakfast. I have never seen a kid that likes bread as much as he does.

We had a beautiful weekend but it's overcast this morning. I don't see any rain on the radar. I need to put my Ficus tree somewhere before it gets too cold at night. I use to bring it in the house but it has gotten too big. The year of Hurricane Rita it spent the winter in the cab of my motorhome. I'm going to put it in the old house by a window and hope it gets enough sun. I put a hanging basket in there last year and it made it.

Two of the local car dealers ran ads this weekend that their small SUV's are on sale. I think I'll go see if it's true or if they are just blowing smoke. There is a dealer in Lafayette that runs sale ads. When my son was looking for a car we went by there twice and they would say they were out of the sale cars and try to move you to a higher priced car. They would keep running the sale ad for the next 2 weeks. They don't have to worry about ever selling me a car.

Good morning ladies, trying to get the rest of the family up and motivated to get there stuff packed.
Check out is 11. Their all grumpy but Maggie and have been out and had our breakfast already. Little
foggy coolness this morning, required my hoodie, but it will burn off by the time we leave. I have really
enjoyed San Diego and do see more trips here in my future.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe. I'll get some pictures posted after I can get into my computer, seems
one of the grandsons locked it up trying to guess Grandma's password. :x
