It's a Tuesday...and all is, WELL....Foggy here in Florida...I woke up this morning (oh I feel a song coming on) snappy my fingers...and taping my toes..(iffn' ya can believe that one ) and humming ...A Foggy day in London town has me up and has me down...oooooh yeah..LOL..well, it's sure better than the chill it has been..and it ain't SNOW...brrrrrr our temp this morning is a mere 61...now thats a nice a.. Of course my Joe was in rare form..I heard this sound..a faint yodel...I jumped out of bed to see what was the matter and..(like the night before Christmas) no reindeer over my roof but a dang dawg howling....oooooooh that sure does a number on ya and quickly.. he must have been crooning to my song...or maybe he needs a refresher course in..Thou don't do that again !...it was haunting and sure did make me move fast..hahahaha...What ever do my neighbors think ?

Now here I am sitting at my puter and the day begins....and so as I stroll through to see what my sistas have been up too...

Bethers...I'm addicted to Survivor..cause I always feel life is like a Safari. Lots of maneuvering to do ..Oh yeah Bob sure did win it all...but you know what..poor Sugar got left out in the cold...and if it wasn't for her, Ole Bob would have been long gone..maybe he'll slip her a few thousand !!! Great show .

Almost there (Lenora) so you're a fan too...aaaah we should next season start a column and post what we think ...hint hint..A Show column and comments..alrighty....

Ava Her Tree is Up...Sure does look neat...you did a great job..oh and I love that Angel...Cause I know she's watching over you...and of course there's Gracie...LOL yep them noses can find a place...oooooh yeah... I love those candle lights too...it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...mmmm and another Survivor fan.. Yeah !!!

Cedar's got her tree up too...gosh Gals I'm gonna have to start counting...SeeyaGal (Jenny and Dan) they got the whole of Yuma up LOL Jenny sure is pretty....and ok all fess up what cha got going on..

Zeee has a Christmas wreath with lights on the wall..(what door) and I have it on now as I type..sure does have a pretty glow in the room

I see everyone is hanging out at the campfire...and I can't blame them...lots of logs burning and boy it always gives off some neat colors too...Ever put a pine cone in...and watch the colors that comes off as it's burning...

Birdbybird (Tina) is in rainy Ohio...and Carolinagal (Carol) she's listening to all complain about the cold...brrrrrrrrrr and WickedLady (Marda) she just re enforced it...LOL and Echo...well dear Echo...we all know what's up with you... that JOB...yikes..I sure hope you've heard some news about that possible move to a Work Kamper's Job... You and Kelly need a change of scenery..BIG TIME... I think we all agree on that ! Ava, another fan of Survivor...and yikes AZ is chilly too... Retired Happy..(Karen) I hear those temps in Texas ..with them winds a blowing too....our weather is really playing havoc with all parts..

Fernie, she's a getting ready to drive to Texas to pick up her Sister and bring her to the Family GTG in Illinois for Christmas...Listen up Gal..you drive Safe and all our prayers are going with ya..in fact maybe that Angel will be sitting up on top of that car...She leaves Wed..so all do say a pray for her...please ..

RVGranny (Lori and Ernie) Now ya all know Lori and Ernie have been attempting to go fishing...but seems the winds are not playing fair..and of course it is chilly...mmmmmm maybe ice fishing...yikes..but at least ya sit in one of those huts keepin warm... well anyway..Lori's fingers are busy she's crocheting and you can see why.. the blanket coming out of it is keeping her warm too ......

Molly's Mom (Trudy) sure glad to hear you are feeling better..Make sure you bundle up and take that coughing meds..We want ya up and telling us all what you and Molly have been up too...and iffn' your going to head into Texas..hows about checking in with Beth, and the gals..maybe you can make one of their GTG...

Soisew (Shell) Gosh I was thinking about where you are and how your taking care of the live stock..and only a mere 13..woman I sure hope you have lots and lots of layers on.. and I know that livestock is happy to see ya.....then me thinks about them pioneers..in just them covered wagons...oooooooh ..where's my coffee...brrrrrrrr Make sure you sit by our fire..it's forever burning...

The Florida GTG is looking real good.. Liz checked out the numbers and it's looking like 12...alrighty... gosh that makes ya feel good too..getting to meet more of the sista's ... and hey.. even thought that place we were at in Ocala is great..Good size parking for the rigs and pet friendly...plus we can have a great fire..

Ok, I'm buzzing now...yeah my coffee pot is perking and so am I...gearing up for a GTG gets ya heart pumping...Critters are laying back and that's good..cause it give me more time for ME to sip my coffee...them gulping days are difficult LOL

My table she's a set..and I know it will be filled shortly..but...there's always room for more...You know I've got lots of cups what ever ya drinkin...oh and I made blueberry muffins...yeah I broke into my freezer and I have lots of blueberries...even got them Orange buns..LOL and ya know ..Biscotti..gots to have them..I mean my day would not start or even end with out a dunk LOL...

Calling all missing in ACTION.. it's holiday cheer and we sure is missing ya...stop in to let us know you're ok...at least...

Hi, Barb! So good to see you up and about in your kitchen! And Good morning to everybody else!

It's 19 degrees here this morning, and snowing! YIPPEE!!!! After almost 50 degree temps yesterday and rain all day, the snow and cold are VERY welcome! I still have a very good base of frozen snow now on the ground...perhaps about 4 or more inches, despite all the rain that fell on it yesterday. Time for me to get dressed, feed the 4-footers, scoop cat litter, start truck to warm it up, and head out.

Wind blue like blew blazes here last night. I heard some cracking outdoors,... wonder if a tree came down. Nothing is close enough to the house to do damage so i didn't worry. other than that, what will be will be. Geeeee... if i can't get out my driveway because of a fallen tree, i'll just have to take a day off from work!

I'm out of the shower, Middy's been fed, and i've had my cereal and toast, and o.j. and pills,... can't forget the pills! keeps me running for another day.

so i'll wander throught he forum here and then head out to ... work? hee hee... maybe only the driveway,.. can you tell i'm hoping there really IS a tree down?

Well Goooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

I'm late getting on here this morning. By goodness I took a long hot shower. Ohhhh I'm clean! LOL Hairs brushed, teeth are brushed, I'm dressed, swilling on more coffee and I do believe I will get into those blueberry muffins. MmmmmMMmmmMmm I love blueberrt muffins. I have also taken the garbage out and from the sounds of it out there I got it out just in time.

Love the artwork Barbz. Our tree is decorated in blue, white and silver. But the tree is green. I did see a couple of trees at WalMart a couple of weeks ago that I thought were really neat. One was a little short, maybe 4', black and prelit, the other one was a topiary tree that was prelit. I know it sounds funny but they were really sharpe. The topiary one would be super in a small space and the black one was just so different. I was telling the woman at work who sits next to me and she gave me one of those looks like I was either off my rocker or a freak! HA She saw one at the Wally World near her house then told me she thought it was really sharpe. I'm not so nuts after all. LOL

Went to bed right after my last post last night and slept until 5:15 this morning. Well except for a potty run about 1am. hehehe But I'll tell ya if it wasn't for having to get up for work and all I would have went crawling back under those blankets and back to sleep. I feel better and more awake than I did this morning and for sure I'm more awake than I was yesterday morning. Good grief I was tired. The other women and i were talking about it at work yesterday because they couldn't understand why they have been so tired. But for ? 2 months now we have been putting in extra overtime. Cause we started it the end of October and it has only gotten worse. So yeah between the overtime and trying to keep up with the rest of life ya get freaking tired. Even the younger girls are complaining. Right now the idea of all the overtime and being a single Mom with little ones?? No way, I know that the girls are younger but dang I sure wouldn't want to try and do all that.

Well Kelly is showered and getting dressed. It's 7:10 and in five minutes it's out the door. Dang I haven't had my comic fix yet!!!

Now I know others are having colder temps than us, but 40F at 6AM is cold for the Gulf Coast!!! That's what the temp was when I got up today.....good thing we had the heat on.....Weather Bug states it's not going to get much warmer....High of 45F...according to them... But the rest of the week looks promising....

Am shopping for Ernie's gifts today.....then I'm really done.....

Finished hats and booties for the new babies to send with the blankets.....now, maybe I can get back to my counted cross-stitch.....

Morning all...Great news -- we have water flowing again. A heater in the water bay did the trick, in fact it got too warm in there so we switched back to a drop light as our outdoor temp rose above zero! Today we'll actually come up near freezing but not quite.

It's still cold though and the forecast is for cold (below freezing) temps will remain for at least a week longer. I see the tree branches moving a bit so that means winds are around, will make it colder.

The poor wild turkeys are in the barnyard with thier heads tucked under thier wings and standing on one leg, garsh that's an odd site! So, I guess I'll pause one moment and go toss out some grain for them.

Zee's mention of covered wagons reminds me -- my family actually came here in the late 1800's in wagons. My great-grand father homesteaded this place in 1876, about 8 -10 years after it was a stage station on the old Sidney (NE) to Deadwood (SD) trail. The trail was really only in operation for about 4 years. Once the railroad came in many of the old trails weren't as active.

The weather channel shows snow to the west and south of us but here we have clear skies, at least for now.

More great news...I'm about done with Christmas shopping. We kept things small and simple this year. We all just decided we had too much and aren't going out for luxury goods just consumables! When people asked us what we needed we said -- "Nothing we are full. If we get more stuff we'll have to toss something else out the door!"

Well, I've not had my pills or eaten so I'd better get off here and on to something else.

Good Morning !
It's cold here today !!! Not sure of the temp, but the water hose froze last night so pretty soon I'll have to go out and deal with that - I left a faucet dripping last night and the hose is all wrapped up but guess that wasn't enough. I have a couple of gallon jugs of water so I can flush and wipes for my hands so no biggie for right now. I think I'll just disconnect the hose tonight and hook it up when I get up in the morning - seems like the easier way to do things.
Not sure what's on the agenda today - I know Molly needs to get out for a long walk - it was too cold for her yesterday, she just didn't want to stay out. The wind isn't blowing as hard today so I think I can talk her into a nice long walk, maybe at the beach
Other then thawing the hose and walking the dog, no real plans for today.

Good to see you woke up singing this morning, Barbzeee. It's going to be a beautiful day here in FL. That snow scene looks like it came from Nasoosie's place...I think I can see her cross-country skiing in the background.

I had my annual termite inspection this a.m. (or at least the house did ), did a little exercise, and hope I can muster up energy for some yardwork today.

We can surely have the FL gtg at Silver River State Park, if everyone is agreeable. I'll post their website in the GTG thread so you can have a look and let us know. Then we'll work on setting a date.

Soisew, I'm glad to hear you got that water thawed out...frozen pipes are no fun, and hauling water is even less fun. Thanks for feeding those poor wild turkeys. They'll love you for it.

So, Cedar, got my fingers crossed about that tree down in your driveway!

I guess what i was hearing last evening was something deeper in the woods. Oh well, i'm here at work and as always being with these high school kids makes for a great day!
