Good Morning Renee and all who follow,
Benn absent from here this past week but have been keeping an eye on Morning Coffee on and off. Haven't been into General Talk or other threads though. So far behind in welcoming the new folks too. So welcome to the forum and glad to have to join us. I know you will enjoy it. Lots of great advice, wanted or not
, laughs, caring and friendships made.
Still up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula enjoying the scenery and weather. Been all over the place up here and hitting some of the "high points" this time. Lake of the Clouds where Liz, Sarah, Carol and Leslie were, and also to the top of Mt. Arvon, Michigan's highest point at 1979.283 ft. Will post pictures after I get home. Fall color is at it's peak right now in this area and rain is also threatening.
Looks like the weather is going to be the story of the day. Tropical Storm Karen bearing down on the Gulf Coast. Hope those of you in it's path don't get flooded or blown around too badly. Snow is hitting the middle of the country. Pat, will that affect you at all? Even tornadoes threating to break out in the Midwest and rain spreading all the way to the eastern seaboard. Keep dry and safe everyone.
I'm heading off to Marquette in just a bit here. Going in to get a new Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance policy taken care of. Was notified just before I left that my current insurance will be discontinued at the end of December due to the new Healthcare Law, so need to get new one. The BCBS office in Marquette up here is actually closer to where I am staying then the office in Traverse City down by me, so am going to take care of this while up here. Will only be on this one for 5 months as it will need to be changed when Medicare kicks in for me next year. All sorts of fun here.
So, wishing all of you a safe day out there. Keep an eye on the sky, be prepared.
