Good morning Lori & everyone!

Lori, thanks for the breakfast. Tell Ernie thanks for the pictures. Tell him to keep taking the camera with him when he goes out for his walks.

It's much cooler in MD with temperatures only in the high 40's. The woodstove is lit but maybe later when it warms up, we can let it go out.

Mom's memorial service was real nice yesterday. Today the family is meeting at an assisted living place in Easton for a tour and lunch. Lots of decisions to be made, but everything will work out. Take care everyone.

Good morning all. Thank you Ernie for the beautiful flowers and butterflies. Irmi, sending ((HUGS)) as you continue through the path of loss. My youngest daughter (the one that was in Korea) is back from Seattle and staying with us until she goes into the military or lands a job and sets up a place to live. I enjoy having her here, but not more than a week or two. Using her back and muscle to help with yard work and cleaning and washing RED. Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha yall

Ernie has an eye for beauty. Guess that's why he married you, Lori. Tell him thanks for thinking of us. About today's visitor....you know you can't keep any secrets when you are on Facebook, lol.

Red, I hear you. I sure agree with you too.

Irmi, I'm glad you have the support of other family members around to help with the big decisions that must be made.

Carol and I will head up onto the Blue Ridge Parkway today. Hoping for some pretty weather and fall colors along the way.

Good morning to all!

Thanks, Ernie, for the beautiful pics to cheer up this overcast, cold, and somewhat miserable few days. I have never seen those berries before, and I love them!

HEY----just looked out of the window here in the trailer, and I actually see some sunshine on the hill in the back of the property! Maybe there is hope for a pretty day at last, although it will remain in the 50s all day they say.

Back to the sorting, organizing, labeling, and shuffling around of "stuff" in the house today. Then hoping for an afternoon walk-about with the dogs in the sun!

Happy Tuesday to all!

Lori - Ernie is so sweet to think of all the ladies!

Can't get the trailer into the shop until the 15th so it's going to be a while before I can get back out camping. I have some vacation days to burn so I'm thinking of some Sun-Tues camping trips when the parks aren't so crowded. Guess that will be put on the back burner until probably November. <blech>

Tell the Sultan thanks for the photos! Those berries are really beautiful. What a vivid color.

Oh, now I'm imagining the Blue Ridge in early fall. Wonderful!

Red, I'm envious of you having your daughter with you for a bit. That should be wonderful.

rant alert!

I'm in "grab him by the scruff of the neck and shake him until his teeth rattle" mode with my son right now. Alas that he's too old for that! He just moved from a sketchy neighborhood in the Bronx to the worst neighborhood in New York City. I'm scared to death for him. He didn't tell me until he'd already moved, so I didn't even get a chance to lodge my complaint. I understand his reasons, but I hate it anyway!

Ok, rant over!

Enjoy this wonderful fall, everybody!

Tell Ernie thanks for the pictures. I have seen the berries but never knew their name.

Red, it sounds like your daughter wants to travel. My older son retired from the Air Force. He spent 2 tours in Turkey and 2 tours in Italy. I think you have to go to Turkey to get to Italy. When he was in Italy he toured all over Europe. Keep her busy and she will find someplace to go. That's what my DH does when the boys are here. They don't hang around for long.

I need to get moving, I'm meeting someone for lunch. I have been told to take pictures. We'll see how that goes.

Great pictures, tell Ernie thanks for thinking of us. I've seen American Beauty Berries before and wondered what the plant was. I would like to get some for our garden.
Irmi I'm so sorry to hear about your mother, and thinking about you as you go work through the upcoming decisions.
It's been a frustrating day, I tried out a new cleaning person this morning and the dogs went nuts, even sweet little Winnie growled at her!! I've never heard Winnie growl at anyone. Toby just would not shut up and acted very frightened. She fortunately understood and agreed it just wasn't going to work out.

BJ, dogs can sense things about people, good and bad. Cats can be that way too. I once had a cat who was a very good judge of character and I would let her meet my dates before I would agree to go out with them again. She never steered me wrong!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
