Good Morning Thursday :-))

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning Thursday :-))

good morning ladies
no school today, district recess for a Jewish holiday. Pulling out the sewing machine today, daughter requested a special pillow for the babies carseat that she saw on Pinterest. Leftover fabric from the baby quilt I made will do just fine. No need to buy anything just get er done.
The pillow ties to the shoulder strap of the seatbelt to give the baby some support when he falls asleep. Should take maybe all of 30 minutes to make. Then I'm gonna clean up my desk again. Seems to be the messiest place in my room so its a constant "clean up" task.
Hope ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning Ava & all to follow :D

Nice to have you open MC, Ava :D All us east coasters sleeping in???

Thanks for the tips on retrieving "poofed" msgs--I did try "undo," but evidently, I'd done more than one thing, & couldn't get to "undo." Will try the other method of hitting "back"??? But like I say, sometimes I think those things happen for a reason  I must have written something really stupid & was saved by technology

Wow, are we having great fall weather--ideal for sailing yesterday. Red, yes, I remember you lived on a boat for quite sometime! What a fun life...Liz, Sarah & CArol, how great that your UP travels continue to be such an adventure. Boondocking 101 for Sarah--& for Lori ;) Catherine, happy travels as you start your return home...& Donna, ready to head south?

Mowing today, a few errands, canning tomorrow...Summer winding down...

Y'all have a great day & safe travels always 8-)

GOOD MORNING TO ALL from a frigid Adirondack Mountains! It was in the mid 30s when I woke up, is not expected to get above 57 all day today, and forecast to hit the 20s tonight into tomorrow morning. Frost time in the mountains already. Bye-bye to all the remaining blueberries on the bushes and all the goldenrod and what-all else is still alive out there. Must remember to bring in my two house plants tonight also.

I mowed the pet cemetery we have yesterday, and now need to get on my hands and knees and weed around the marker stones today. First off I need to find my canvas gloves as those weeds, many of them blueberry bushes, are tough to uproot. My father's navy stone and father-in-law's army stone is up there, too, along with many, many beloved pets of all sizes and shapes. Some day there will be some sort of memory thing of me in there, too, surrounded by my 4-footers and 2-footers who are there before me.

Today, as cold as it is, will also be a good day to walk the property lines to read the footprints of critters who walked in the night. The dogs love to sniff those!

Donna, will you be up for camping when you get back to FL? I sure hope to get around more this year than I did last year, but money will determine that. I plan to be here for at least this entire month and part of October. Am hoping to maybe get to FL by mid-October. Would be fun to be able to get to the spot where Liz will be in that month for a few days. Must go look at that GTG info.

Happy trails to all!

Happy travels!

Good morning on Pacific time! I crossed into Idaho yesterday, so am adjusting all of my clocks, and my body, of course. Nice camping spot here: electric, no dust because of paved roads and pads, and lots of places I can explore on my bike. Spots are fairly private and spread apart, so it is very quiet, also! It is still wet outside and might rain later, so I will have to check the weather before I go too far.

Have met two ladies just starting out RVing in the last four days, so of course, I have referred them to this forum. Hope they join. It is so nice to find older, single women joining this lifestyle!

Today will be rest, relaxation, and work, of course. (It is so nice to be able to sit after a long drive.) It is the end of the semester so I have papers to grade and some narrated PowerPoint presentations to view and grade. I want to get a lot done today because Ellen is arriving tomorrow and I want as much free time as possible. Thankfully, final exams grade themselves, so I just need to finish the other stuff by deadline of Sept 19.

What do you use instead of a mouse? A touch pad? With a left and right 'button'? That's what my netbook has. Right button is just the same as on mouse, click it and list will show with 'undo'. Then left click.

I did the right click on my touch pad but there is no "undo" option... I must have one somewhere on this thing.

Did you do it after you had typed something in the 'post a reply' screen? 'Undo' will only show up when you are typing.

Judy, saw severe weather in MT. Sounds like you escaped from that thankfully.

Thank you for that additional tidbit of info!! I experimented with it and it worked! Hopefully, that will help to rescue some of my future posts :D (I am SO computer-challenged!  )
