Up for awhile here, too....around 4:30am....so I'm about ready for a nap... ;)

This weekend was all about tenting here....more tents than RVs.....found out that the local Community College hosted an outdoor basketball tournament so alot of kids decided to camp instead of doing the motel thing....Spinner made alot of new friends and got lots of petting....cause the new bathouse is located right beside our site....  He's such a social butterfly....

Our military "snowbird" friends, who live about an hour from here, came to visit yesterday...Ernie and Butch went and played a round of golf and Cindy & I sat around the campfire yakking & drinking coffee.... ;) They brought lunch with them and we had my home-made, self picked Blackberry Pie....(cheated on the crust and got store bought Pillsbury... No rolling out of pie crust right now.... ;) ) We had really nice visit, but I was really ready for a nap...my first company (other than family here) and I did a little too much...so will take it easy today and just rest while watching the NASCAR race with the Sultan.... ;)

Well, that's about all from here for now...

Have a great day, all.... ;)

Good Morning Carol, Kathleen and Lori,

It's a beautiful morning here too. Couldn't ask for more perfect one. Am awaiting the arrival of Liz, CArol, Sarah, Peggy and Louise and also waiting to see if Tina wound up joining us or not. Don't know if they are planning on swinging by the house here before heading over to the park or not, but I will take a drive over to the park later and see what's going on. Firewood is stacked in the Flex for campfires, BBQ grill is ready, hamburgs are made and in the fridge along with the corn. Will be putting them in the cooler in awhile. Buns and tomatoes are bagged up and sitting on counter. So let the good times begin :D

That looked like an awful good chicken dinner they had yesterday down in Mt. Pleasant. I noticed they didn't say anything about casino, either they didn't bother or they don't want to talk about it  It was nice that they went to find some of Carol's relatives and even found her grandmother's grave.

Carol, glad you are having such a good time with your sis. Kathleen, good that you got some sleep last night. And you are out walking again. There is nothing like having a furry companion to get one out walking. I know Sassy will bug me if I don't go with her in the evening after dinner.

Well, guess I had better to water the flowers here and put some water in my little fountain. Don't want it to run low and burn out the pump. Those things don't come cheap. Have a great day everyone. Don't know when I wlll be back on here, but there is WiFi over at the park, so maybe somebody will post and let you know how the GTG is going. Or ask for some bail money

Good Morning !

Feels wonderful outside, but I don't think it's going to be a sunny day :? Sounds like a nice little gathering is in the making, look to see some pics later. One day I'll get there or maybe ya'll come here for Mardi Gras?

I bet that blackberry pie is making a nice breakfast this morning.

Have a blessed Sunday and be safe on the roads.

good morning ladies
good to see so many are having gtg's and having lots of fun. I can hardly wait til I'm doing the same. Trust me, plans are in the works. :P
Spent all day doing laundry yesterday and didn't get it all done so last two loads this morning. Can't believe how much extra laundry I had
from all the heat and extra showers. I'm so done with this summer heat, looking forward to a cool down, just don't know when its going to
be.
Gonna catch up on blogs today, think I have lots of reading to do.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

I am back in the really nice campground in West Yellowstone where I spent four days last week. I really, really need a few days to just rest. It was a long day yesterday, although I enjoyed meeting Sheila/Snowball.

I woke up yesterday morning with a "trigger finger" on my left hand, so I splinted it last night. Then this morning I woke up with bladder pain and some blood in my urine. I may end up at the local clinic tomorrow, but we will see. I really need to drink more water because I get so dehydrated in these dry climates. (Hope tomorrow morning does not bring anything new.)

I have a live 1-2 hour internet conference with my students today, so if I can survive that, I will be fine for the rest of the day! Hope my connection and the software works. I have to manage the conference and take notes on student's presentations, which will be hard since I am not feeling well.

At least I got a good 9 hours of sleep last night. Also, have a pot of chicken soup cooking for later. Love my chicken soup! I put a lot of chicken and noodles in it so it is a real meal, and it makes the place smell so good to boot!

Judy, UTI's are nothing to mess with, especially if there is blood in the urine. You really should get in for treatment on that. If left untreated, it can affect your kidneys.

Sounds like everyone is getting together with someone somewhere!

Our perfect weather (mid 70's, dry and sunny) is coming to an end tomorrow. 90's and humid will be with us all week! Yuck! Just hate the humidity!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks, Barbie. I do feel better, but I think I will go into the local clinic tomorrow morning. At least they can test my urine for infection.
