Good morning all!

Not creative this morning--couldn't think of a good topic word But I did survive my afternoon at the Ruckus--hmmm, probably cuz Soos hadn't made her recipe yet I did have my first "jello shot" tho!...Wow, Soos has a great place--& is the ultimate in gracious hostesses! Great to see Liz again too, & met new peoples Louise (roadweaver) & Gayle (gayleo & her 2 poopers) Of course Soos tempted me with everything to stay overnight in her "old" trailer--buying pizza & all--but alas, I came home....Thanks for everything, Soos & others. Oh, I also had one of Liz's blueberry muffins, mmmmmmm

Waiting for bro to arrive to thin the sucker branches off the mater plants. Doing laundry & other mundane things. Piper's last class tonight--graduation for her! She was the only one I took yesterday to give her a sense of being at a cg without her pack. I think she did really well!

Done with babbling--others sleeping in today? Hope y'all are well, have a great day & be safe always!

Good morning Carolb and others yet to come. I am kicking myself for not getting out the camera while you were here yesterday. I did add a few more pictures to the gtg thread. Today 3 of us are going to visit Ausable Chasm, so should have some nice pictures from there. The nights are chilly, but the days have been beautiful. Hope it lasts.

Yesterday, Louise wanted to go the Verizon store to have them check her phone that was not charging. So I rode along with her and came away with an upgraded MiFi and an Iphone 5. Once I get over the sticker shock, I'm going to love it. I had watched Tina talk to hers to get directions to someplace, so decided to try that feature out on the way back to Soos. I carefully enunciated, "Get directions to Cold Brook Road." My new state of the art Iphone replied, "The temperature in St. Albans, VT is 60 degrees."

Good morning. Nothing more exciting this morning than re-heated yesterday's coffee. Yeah, I know ...

Annie hurt her leg again at the dog park last night. I think it's a sprain again. This morning I iced it and took her to the local park (read: target-rich environment!) instead of our morning walk. She's hiding the leg from me to make sure I don't ice it again!

So I'll be a doggie nurse today. She's getting around on it gingerly. We love our babies.

Water, water everywhere! Not what I needed today. Awoke to major thunderstorm with torrential rain and near continuous thunder for several hours. Have water in garage again for first time in couple years and gutters running over. Under flash flood warning until 2:00 and watch until Thursday morning as another 3 inches rain in forecast. Neither Nicky nor I happy about that. Really need to get some errands done today but don't want to drive in mess.
