Another Hot Thursday

Good Morning all,
Well, guess I will start MC this morning as it seems everybody's trying to keep cool and enjoying the last of a nights sleep. The whole country seems to be under a heat wave, although as Maggie said, her area is below normal a bit. But even then, seems like 80' s the minimum temps for the most part. Relief is on the way for those of us in the north. One more day of this hot weather and tomorrow it will start breaking down.
Lori, I can sympathize with you "donating blood" while walking Spinner. Same thing happened to me when I got up to the U.P. two weeks ago. But then the weather cleared and so did they. Didn't have any more problem after that. Same for here too. They are coming up late now, just about dark and I'm not out there then. Good luck with you new GP and I hope you health issues get all straightened out. No fun waiting and worrying.
I just had my eyes examined by a new doctor yesterday. She did good job, but I have an implant in my left eye and she said that it looks like it's starting to cloud over among a few other things. So am going to go see an Ophthalmologist and have him check it out. The original doctor who did the cataract surgery on that eye has retired, so hence my starting out with new docs again. But this lady doc has me outfitted for new glasses, so that will be nice. The old ones need replacing.
Turned out to be a long stay in town when I went up for the eye appt. Long story short, but neighbor drove me up cause doc uses the eye drops and won't put them in if I drive alone. Neighbor has friend who took a bad fall at Senior complex. So we stopped to check on her. Arm problems. Decided to go to Emergency room as it was too late for personal doc. Spent 4 hours at hospital between waiting to get in, getting ex-rays done, waiting for doctor, another recheck of ex-rays, no broken bones etc., arm in sling for now, see her own doctor today etc. Boring sitting in the waiting room all that time. Went out for dinner afterwards. Left home at 2:30, got home a bit before 10. Sassy was fine, but house was warm. Put A/C on in bedroom and she made a beeline for it. Poor baby.
Red, hope you get your MH issues taken care of so you don't have to keep camping in the hot sun. Sarah, hope all goes well with Magic and that you get to have a mini GTG down there.
Well, need to get ready to head for town in a bit. SS day yesterday, so need to get some green for wallet and food for Sassy. Hope you all have a great day and keep cool everyone.
