I'm dragging this morning. I am just glad I dopn't have to go to work. I do have errands to run and the Home Health nurse and PT should both be here today so we will have a busy day. It is a rainy/snowy mix day which will turn to just rain. No accumulation here. Just an icky day. Think I'm going to have to go stir up the campfire to keep warm!!! Coffee smells and tastes great.

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

YAWN.........I'm up, grabbed my first cup on my way out the door with Shade. Yucky weather out on the back porch this morning. Rain, sleet and a few snow flakes throwed in to the mix. About done with my second cup and fixen to grab a third, then out the door again cause now Honey is up, out of the bedroom and needs to go too. She hears Shade and I up and quietly makes enough noise that David and Jenny can't stand it! LOL They let her out and go back to sleep. ;)

<puppy potty break>

Today is a day off for us cause we worked Friday which we were suppose to have off. It's also the beginning of the month and we don't have new files yet so there is only a skeleton crew working. I hope they don't do what they did for November. Cut us back to 1/2 days for a week and then try to kill us with overtime again. Overtime is nice for the paycheck but of course Uncle Sam like to take a nice chunk of it too.

Have a list of stuff to do today. Some of it is 'must be done', some of it is 'want to get done'. Have no idea what all will be done? More of the 'must stuff' for sure than the 'want stuff'! That's how it usually is. ~sigh~ The one thing that is on both lists is brushing Shade out! She is blowing coat so I have these fluffy black 'dog bunnys' floating and skidding around the floor. She really doesn't shed much like dogs do but when she blows her coat??? OH MY! Have mercy I swear she's gonna end up bald. ;)

I think I'm just gonna stick with coffee this morning? The goodies sound yummy? But I'm just not ready to put anything in my tummy yet. If ya'll can save me something for later???

Gonna go check my email and get my comic fix for the day. Then see if I can truly get the motor running and start my day.

Hope ya'll have a good day and please stay safe!!!

Love to all

Morning all you early birds! It's just 9 am here in TX and looking to be another medium cool day. I'm going out to McKinney for a long walk and then will do weekly-monthly chores. Yesterday my DD and I put together a "play scape" for little one. It was really hard connecting those plastic parts until we thought to lube them with olive oil, then smooth sailing. Little one LOVES it! Image having a slide and playhouse in your own backyard! Hope you are having a fun day....

mtngal---IP'll be in Allen for a couple days before Christmas to pick up my sis and take her to Illinois for Christmas. Where do you walk in McKinney. I spent 4 months in Allen/Plano a year ago last summer when my sis was ill. I parked my RV at Spring Creek Mobile Home and RV park while I was there. Got to get out and I don't want to!!! It is still cool and rainy----the kind that goes right through you!!!

Good Morning to every one - at least today it is still morning where you'r at. This Verizon Air Card is great. Its 7:30 there abouts here in Vegas. Have been awake for quite a while but just snuggled in. This park is RIGHT under the flight path for the big airport and as soon as they start flying in the a.m. there is a steady stream of jets thundering overhead. Like one every 2 minutes. So we do wake up early.
Finally feeling better - don't know what it was but ick. Went to Campging World yesterday and managed to get out of there without leaving our wallet. Just got a new "Made in the USA" book and a step for when the front end is jacked up so high. Also went to look at new Class As. NO not buying one just wondered what they were putting in them now. Amazing. Do you really need a dishwasher for 2 people? Or 3 TVs inside and 1 outside? Lots of all ceramic tile floors with little carpeting. One had 2 bathrooms, one in front and the big one all across the back. One had a washer and a dryer instead of the combination one. The only thing I saw that I would like is where an extension pulls out of the kitchen counter to give more room. B had me take pictures of it - maybe he can do one when we get home.
Today we are thinking of driving up the mountain and looking at the snow - then meeting brother and sister in law for dinner.
Have wonderful days.

Good morning !
I'm sure slow posting this morning !
It's a grey, sort of rainy day today so guess I just have to watch TV and take a nap - HA !!!
It's actually "chore day" so I'll empty the tanks and clean up a bit inside. I also want to get my Christmas gifts to the kids mailed out. My sister's step kids will be at her house next week so I want their gifts to get to them in time.
That's all I have planned - nothing exciting but that's OK !
Enjoy your day :D

Well, it's Monday. I survived Thanksgiving and a slumber party for a 10 year old. Survived my son flying in this weekend for his 10 year high school reunion. Survived him sideswiping a telephone pole with my jeep. So did he, thank God. Did 1600 worth of damage to the jeep but at least he wasn't hurt. A few more inches and he would have been! Took a good chunck out of the pole!

My other son and his wife moved this weekend from Abilene, TX to Atlantic, IA. So, I'm checking out campgrounds close to him for this summer and it looks like Lake Anita State Park is it. Anyone been there? It will probably take me 2 - 3 days to drive out, but I'm ready to start planning it now.

I'm so ready for this year to be over. Sorry, don't mean to rush the Holidays, but this year has really been the pits for me and I just want it to be done. I have one more Birthday to get through before Christmas and New Years. (DD (my baby) will turn 25). Let's hope it is uneventful since the last 2 birthdays of this year have not been nice ones!

My buddy, Jim is finally on the road to recovery. They are talking about moving him into a rehab facility some time this week! Finally! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers! BTW, his heart attack was on what would have been my Dad's birthday.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Afternoon, all - first chance I have to be online, and am only on break. Seem to have finally weathered the storm on this bug I have - I hope - just ate some lunch, so will know soon :) Glad to hear you are also better, Carol.

Carol, I think the 2 bathrooms is a total waste of space - I mean, come on - but some need it. Someone in the park I'm at has the dishwasher - that also is a waste of space to me. Then, that washer/dryer? One of the 5th wheels here has separate one, but you can only use one of them at a time. So, if the dryer is in use, you can't put in another washer load. So, unless it works much better (it doesn't - I did a load of their sheets there one day) it's another waste of space for me. But, that's me :) Glad you found something in one to have hubby try to do for you when you're home again. That makes the looking worth it.

Want to read a few other posts before I go back to work - have a great day all.

Good Evening!

I am finally getting to my coffee after a long hard day back at work! It was too busy here this morning for me to get into this kitchen, so here I am now!

Guess I'll have a decaffe (for warmth) and one of my pistachio muffins for my supper!

Glad you seem to be on the mend, Beth! Happy that your buddy, Jim, is better now too, Paulette!

Here's hoping December will be a wonderful month for us all.

Well it has been a mixed bag of weather for me this morning. I packed up the MH and was ready to roll early this morning. Left Albany, OR heading over to Coos Bay, OR. When I left Albany the sun was shining, then hit fog, then sun, then arrived at the coast and it is WINDY as usual. Got parked enjoyed the view of the bay for a while and NOW it is raining....hmmmmm. I will leave Wednesday morning for Eureka, CA where I will be on assignment for 3 months.

I am parked at the Mill Casino RV Park....such a good deal I couldnt pass it up. $15 for the first night and second night free.....wahoo.
