Wet Wednesday

Good Morning all,
Some rain last night and more expected today. Everything's so lush and green now. Not that it wasn't before, but now it just perked up even more. My apple trees and lilac bushes are either in full bloom or starting to.
Lots of my plate today, with company coming. Dinner is already in the crock pot. Beef roast, potatoes and carrots. We will have plenty if anybody wants to stop by. Will be heading to town in a bit for some more supplies for the fridge and also to bank to supply the wallet
Donna, glad to hear you made it to PA safe and sound. Now to rest up and enjoy ths summer. Beth, also glad you got to AK safe and sound too. Sounds lke you are going to be in for a busy summer and maybe a few long stretches of days. Thing "green", think "green" Kathleen, glad to hear that you are doing okay. Now you can say that you indeed did "give blood" if anybody ever asks Sounds like the pontoon boat trip was a lot of fun and the ladies are enjoying themselves.
Took Ms. Tessa to the vet yesterday and the news is not good. Blood tests are showing that she is starting to be anemic, which means she is in final stage kidney disease. Also the weight loss, lack of appetite, excessive urination etc. are also all the signs, those of which I knew. So at the moment the prognosis is to just watch, and as long as she still has some quality of life left yet, monitor her. I am to let him know next Tuesday, how she is doing. I don't think she is going to be long for this world, unfortunately. I will not let her suffer. Right now she is still alert and was wading in the lake yesterday, and she did eat some dinner yesterday. So we shall see how if goes over the weekend.
Guess I had better get my act in gear here. Will be time to head for town and have some cooking to do after I get home. Boil potatoes and eggs for future potato salad, rice and ground beef for the dogs dinners etc.
Have a wonderful day all.
