Good morning. I got up, went for a walk, made some breakfast and sat down, turned on TV. All the storms and tornados. I am praying that all our members are OK and not in the path.

I am tackling the mountain of manuals, registration cards, etc from RED. Trying to get the dealer to respond to our calls re: items that need to be installed, fixed from when we took delivery in Feb. Getting ready for our summer adventure.

Wvweryone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Ran into serious fog on the Blue Ridge yesterday. It's been a long time since I've driven in those conditions! No wonder so many Scots and Irish settled here, way back when! It must have felt like home. :D

The weather report calls for more of the same today, so I'm going to stay in Banner Elk and Boone and putter around. We'll see if tomorrow brings better mountain weather!

Safe roads, everybody.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL---

Those of you in those foggy conditions best stay put until it clears up, for sure. Happy to hear you are almost home, Donna! Be careful for your last leg of the trip. I envy your being there, as the heat is horrendous down here now. I am hoping for some rain, but without the bad winds and tornadoes that other places are getting.

I may or may not go back to Orlando today, as I think waiting one more day for the mail delivery of my latest oil check might be a better idea. But I need to find some way to stay cool if we get as warm as we did yesterday. It went from 103 deg. F. in the shade here to 79 deg. F. in 20 minutes when a horrendously wild front accompanied by a horrific wind came through here, rocking the trailer like crazy! I turned off the AC after it passed and we had a great breeze for the rest of the afternoon. But it was scary! Unfortunately, the rained bypassed us, however, and we need it here again.

Now back to deciding whether to go back home for a few days, or not. Happy Monday to all!

Louise, you are in my daddy's neck of the woods. He was raised in banner elk. That's where I go for family reunions...that area.

Working on crate training Moka. I am so glad puppies grow up faster than kids! Not that I'm wishing away puppy time...but that I'm wishing away all the yowling...

Good Morning... we had a shower while Shadow was out... and I was getting my shower... so Hilde saw him and took him to her daughters she left me a note... lol his new mommy will take care of him... he really loves her... I think these few days are a good thing that way he will not miss me so much... they leave for Toledo tomorrow late morning... a huge hole will be left in my heart.

Today is my doctor visits... I hope he puts my meds back as I have gained 10 lb of the 25 back... makes me sick but it has to be fluid build up...

My grandson Tim came over to visit after church yesterday... he is a sweetie... glad for such good kids...

Time to finish my coffee and be on my way...
Have a good day and smile your way through it...
