Good morning all--or should I say "few"
Yep, dpf, MC is for morning coffee & not many are up for it lately...but they'll miss out on experiencing my posts with "U"s!!! Got a laptop that hadnt been used in 2 years, so when I got online, it had to install updates--30,896 of them! I was wondering why I was getting "alerts" from Verizon that I was approaching my 1GB limit!
Anyway, Martha, so glad you were able to get away, but dang, that you caught such a bad cold & everything went to heck on the home front!!! Hope that doesn't happen often. So good to hear from you!!!
I love roses! Isn't it amazing what a life-span they have?? How special is it that you have some that were planted by your father, Soos? Over the past few years, I've planted 3-4 here, & it's always a "crap shoot" if they survive the winter.
Spent all day in the yard yesterday, & will do the same today, as well as get around to cleaning HB. I'm already thinking I need to get on the road again--maybe a few days in May. The Ferry Boat & Ruckus aren't til later in June, right? BJ, sounds like Elsie is ready for the road???
Donna, et al, hope y'all have fun at Melborne (is there a "u" in that?--Melbourne?)--beach time sounds good!
And Ava, good luck with your latest job/AZ state fiasco--I really didn't think any place could be worse than NY!!!
Coffee pots? Mine pooped out a few years ago, so I do the "boil water, pour through filter basket sitting on top of cup" method. Heck, that's how they made coffee before all this electric stuff!
And with that, off for another cup! Y'all are welcome to some--I'm the human Keurig machine, making one fresh cup at a time! Y'all have a great day & be safe wherever you are!!!
