Good morning all! :D

Had a great visit with Kathleen yesterday! What a sweetheart & a lady with good stories! Again, too short, bt what a wonderfol time! And we had a bewtifol warm day here in Central IL. 8-) Waking to a bit of rain this morning, & a cool-down is expected. Will be on the road in a few hrs--the last leg of my trip. Tina, it woold be no problem for me to go 25 miles "owt of my way," bt sownds like yo're feeling the blahs of working again :( Will call yew later to see if we shoold gtg!

Now, the other thing is that I've serprised myself by having that "horse heading for the barn" feeling :? Love being on the road, bt can't wait to have my yard back! Poopers have been so great, & we have had some great yards for them to play in, bt I think they'll be really happy to be home. Piper especially will have her first taste of having her own yard!

Okay, so coffee with sis this a.m. & will leave arownd 10ish...Y'all have a great day & be safe always! :P

Good Morning Carolb and everyone,

Yep, I know that "horse heading for the barn". You are getting close to home now. You've had a wonderful winter and spring, seeing and visiting with lots of people, making new friends and seeing new places. And have done a wonderful job of driving your rig and leaning how to deal with different situations. What memories to look back on and the scrapbooks you can fill :)

Well, I went RV looking yesterday, down to Camping World, to see what they had. Didn't find anything I was interested in. Well, actually there are some I am interested in, but too much weight for my current vehicle to handle. So I am going off to another dealer maybe next week and see some other brands.

In the meantime, back to painting again. I am having a hard time for some reason, settling on a color for this bathroom I am working on. Have painted it twice, the color green I have in there now, isn't too bad, but I also have green in my other bathroom and the living roon/hall and want a breakaway from green. After this next attempt, that's it, no more painting in the house unless we get a stretch of rainy weather or something. Time to get out like Carolb said and have some "yard time". I've aleady raked up my yard and have piles here and there to pick up, but first need to get my lawn tractor up and going and the snow in the back woods here to get out of my way. It's going and I think by weeks end, should be out. Then I can start doing some landscape changes and upgrading.

So, with that, I am going to head on out here. Carolb, have a safe drive back toward home. Hope you get to have a quick GTG with Tina, but if it doesn't work out, I know there will be another time. You two saw each other at the FL GTG this winter anyway. Everyone else, have a great day. Barbie, I'm sorry to hear that winter just refuses to get out of your neck of the woods, but hang tight. Ii will let go.

Good morning Carolb, Sue and all who follow.

I found out yesterday the place I went for my massage and facial also does mani/pedi's so I have an appointment for this morning. I did not get my nails done last week because I was moving over to my new site. Also made an appointment for two weeks to get all done in one day. This will be wonderful! These are my small indulgences and I like to get them done every two weeks. Same with the massages and facials. When we get really busy this summer, it is definitely going to become even more important to me. The relaxation will be wonderful.

Carolb, I am so glad you have had the opportunity to meet up with so many of the Sistah's during your travels. I have sure enjoyed the times we have spent together. Enjoy your own yard for a while. I figure "hitch itch" will hit you again in just a few months.

Sue, what about a rose color for the walls to break up the greens? Either that or a peach color. You could do green accessories to pull it all together and blend with the other rooms.

We are expecting a cold front here again today. Will be in the 40's with wind chills in the 20's and 30's. In the morning, will be near freezing again. We go from shorts to coats every few days right now. This has been the strangest spring I can remember.

Hope everyone has a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Good Morning everyone... I have been here but not posting... I did so enjoy Carol's visit... albeit soooo short... made me homesick for the ladies of the forum!!
I need to find a good home for Shadow... he is 11 years old and would be a good companion for someone... he acts like a puppy! I need to find him a home by summer of 2014 ... that is when I believe my name will come up at Cottage Apartments...
My weight loss has stalled out at -24... have not been eating like I should so today is timer day!!!
So glad that I got a message from Irmi letting me know Carol was trying to contact me... Now Irmi you need to come for a visit!
Have a great day and those on the road take it easy!

We only got about 3-4 inches of snow overnight (8 was predicted) and the sun is out now so it is quite pretty. But I sure hope this is the last of it (I've said that the past 4 snowstorms! ) They are predicting 70's by next Sunday. I will believe that when I see it! Sure would be nice tho!

Sounds like everyone has had a great winter with lots of GTG's, especially the newbies on here. So nice to make new friends all over the country. If anyone is traveling thru MN this summer, let me know and maybe we can do a GTG here!

Have a great day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

GOOD MORNING ALL!

A few of us are trying to set a date to meet at Wickham Park Campground near Melbourne FL Dell, Donna, and I will get there, for sure, (when I get a call back from my son to see when it would be "convenient" for me to pick up my trailer at his house, as his father and his girlfriend are staying there now, I think----not in my trailer, but in his house!) This evening I will call Sandy and Linda who also live in St. Cloud to see if they would be interested in meeting us there, too. In the meantime, I will need to get Dell's phone number via private message so I can call you! I have Linda's and Donna's, but forgot to get yours last night! Anybody else still down here in the Central FL area who might be interested?

Today I will prepare my bags to take back to the trailer and finish up some chores here. After we all have a confab tonight on Facebook's chat thing, we will be able to make reservations, hopefully. Weather is supposed to be nice, sunny and warm, for the rest of this week. I have been dying to see Wickham for a long time, but with all my doc appointments and whatnot, have not had the time until now. My son just called, and it looks like Thursday morning might be the best time for me to leave for Wickham, which means I would head back there tomorrow night to hitch up and all. He will call me later when he finds out for sure what his father's plans are. YIPPEE!!

Kathleen I am so sorry to hear you can't keep Shadow with you in the apartment you are trying to get. If I thought I had enough room in my little sardine-box trailer, I would be tempted to take him along with Dinah and Molly, but I just can't see that working. I sure hope someone we know might be wanting a road companion. He is such a neat dog.

Carolb, hope you have a safe last leg of your trip to your home base! It sounds as if you had a great winter! Wish I could have seen you once more before you left, but things were hectic here for me for a while. Maybe you could make it to the Ruckus GTG this summer? Check out the details in the GTG room. I still haven't decided whether or not to try to hold it in the state park campground near me, or the KOA across the mountain from me, or right in my own yard again. Depends on how many might show up, I guess!

Barbie I can't believe you are still getting snow, although I know the bears in Ely MN are still denned up too, due to so much snow and still cold temperatures. Lily and her cubs are going stir crazy, not to mention getting hungry!

Off to pack and then bike ride to pool for some swimming.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

I should give a little info about Shadow... he weighs 19 - 20 lb; very good in the Motor Home, has a sensitive stomach so I keep him in his kennel when we are on the road, his mom was a full blooded pom and his father was a shelty, he was a rescued dog when I got him, when I am home or in the MH he will bark if someone is near, he does not bark when he is left alone, he is up to date on all shots, eats science diet, he loves to go on a leash along with me when I ride my trike, if you are interested or know someone that may be pm me... thanks
