I'm up quite early for me, but the rest of you are slackers this morning.
Hope everyone has a great day. I'm about to hit the road and see if I can get a head start on any winds today.

GOOD MORNING ALL!
Back in my trailer after a strange, hectic day yesterday. I got up at 6 am to go with son to dentist to have something done for his aching tooth. Dentist's computers were "down" and so nothing could be done! waited for a long while, then son went to ask if dentist and he could at least talk about plan of action in case computers ever came back on. The plan was to first prepare the tooth, gums, and bone for crown----not a root canal first, which would have eliminated the pain. Then a three week wait until root thing coculd have been done. Hence, he would not want that anyway. So off we went back to the first dentist that referred him to that second one. By then, he had taken off two and a half days from work and still had intractable tooth pain preventing sleep or anything else, so he was not a happy camper when he found out that dentist would not be into work until noon! He caused a mild scene (for me it would be mild!) and home we came. He dressed for work, and I left for home for a couple of days. Got a call just when I got all unpacked back home, and said the original dentist had agreed to do the root canal thing first, so I packed back up and came back here in case he needed something after the procedure. Suffice it to say I will NEVER consider a root canal thing done in my mouth! Anyway, he is at work today and I will stay here until my doc appointment to get stitches removed on Friday morning at 8 am.
Now to figure out if I wish to deal with Ford dealer about truck sale any longer. I will probably go there this morning.
Happy Wednesday to all!

I have left Florida and heading north very slowly. Am at Crooked River State park for a couple of days. Not a lot to do here other than walking and fishing, but I need to read the chapters in the new course textbook I have assigned to my class so I can answer questions! Lots of little gnats or small bugs of some sort, also, or at least there were last night when I hooked up, so I need to do my walking early. Nice very large spots in pine trees, anyway. Can get satellite, but barely.
I stopped at a couple of Michaels yesterday and bought a bunch of craft stuff, mostly stickers and coloring stuff, at $1 each piece for my grandchildren and great-niece and nephew when we go camping in June in Michigan. We will have two sites and five kids, ages 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9. We are headed to Port Crescent State Park in Michigan's thumb. I grew up playing there as a child because it was next door to where we had our cottage. That was long before it was a state park, and we were able to do a lot of exploring along the woods and couple of miles of lakeshore and river when we were kids. There were springs--one fresh and one salt, that had been wells for a town and salt plant in the 1880s before it all burned down in the great Michigan fires. Lots of good memories, so it will be a homecoming for my son and niece and myself. (My kids and niece and nephew spent a lot of time there, also, but after it was a park.)
So, I have everything I need and am going to have a comfortable relaxing day.

We had a big rain last night and there is about 5 or 6 inches of water standing in the low place behind our house. I looked out while ago and one of the young white cats was wading in the water. I have never seen one of our cats do that before. Wish I could have found my camera before he quit. I had to go see what he was fishing for but I couldn't see anything. It has cooled off again. Glad I decided to make my Walmart run yesterday before the rain.
Soos, I think your son needs to find a better dentist. I put up with a dentist for years that I didn't like. When he worked on me I felt like he had had his feet in my mouth instead of his hands. After the last filling he did I was having pain. I would call his office and the receptionist would tell me that I had a big filling and it would be sensitive. My tooth hurt to the point of tears. One of our friends got me in to see his dentist and I had an abscess. When my old dentist's office called for my next appointment I told them I changed dentists. She wanted me to talk to the dentist but I never did. I stayed with the new dentist until he retired. We tried the guy he sold his practice to but he wouldn't listen to our suggestions. He was just out of school and thought he knew it all. One thing he didn't know is how to keep patients. We found a lady dentist that we like a lot.
I hope the rain has ended. I have a meeting tonight and I don't like to drive at night. And for sure, don't like to drive in the rain at night.

Well, it's now almost 5pm, but wanted to check in here to let you all know that we moved today....
We are now near Smithfield, NC for a week or two...Got tired of waiting on the RV guy to get off his butt and install new valves & pulls on the grey and black tanks...Re call on them from manufacturer.....He was to get approval for warranty work, have the parts sent to him, and then installed.....Well, we've waited over a month, calling every other day....with nothing to show for it...So, Ernie left a message for him that he was done waiting and that we were moving on....and that he'd call him in a few days to have him send the parts to us in PA....Ernie's also calling Open Range to cancel the approval....Our pulls stick and the grey valve doesn't close tight every once in awhile, but we can live with it until we get the parts.....Needless to say, we aren't happy campers right now....
Anyways, we're all settled in here and relax some and find out what there is to see and/or do around here....still too cold to get back to PA much before the 20th....
Okay, time for me to find something for supper....
Hope everyone had a nice day...
