The smells in Zee's Kitchen are wonderful. You can tell she has been baking and cooking up things. Get her coffee pot down and put the coffee on. Brought some apple turnovers I made and put out the jar of Bicotti. Get all the mugs down and ready for everyone to stop in for their morning coffee and a bit to eat.

Still quite cold in Florida made it up to a great 59 degrees and dropped again. It will be cold all the week of Thanksgiving here.

Zee so glad to see you dropping in yesterday. Think you had everyone's mouth watering with all the talk of soups. I even ran to the store and got all the ingredients to make chicken and dumplings today. They also had fresh white acre peas, bought some to cook and some to freeze. They are great with any meal.

Everyone have a great day, enjoy all the coffee and goodies.

Yessireeebob Nan,... it was great to see Zeee here in her kitchen yesterday. We'll hold the fort (or is it coffee pot? ) for her until she is ready to start doing the first post of the day again. It's always special to read her posts,.. we miss you Zeee, but no pressure here,... when it feels right, you will know it. Until then your friends will take turns kicking off the day!

So,... let's see,.. I'll have a cuppa and also some biscotti,.. love the chocolate dipped ones. Just might have to buy me a jar for here at home. I'm headed to Plattsburgh for grocery shopping today. That's 80 miles round trip. Little groc. stores here don't seem to have much variety, and kath and I like to go out to breakfast at least once a weekend,... so we're off to Gus's this a.m. That's a diner that has been in business for at least 50 years, maybe longer.

I'll also cash in all my soda cans and bottles, NY has a deposit and I usually get about $5-8, by the time i empty out all the bags i accumulate. Fall cleaning,... time to do it!

so,... have a great day everyone!

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

OMG I slept in until 7am this morning! How kool is that! Shuffled off to bed at about 10:30, played with Shade for a little bit and then I was out. Of course I had a middle of the night run to the potty, I think it was close to 4am and I remember thinking "oh goody" if I go now I wont wake at 5 or 5:30 to go! hehehe Heck of a thought to have at that time of the morning. But it worked. ahhhhhhh

Nan so glad you had the coffee ready to pour. I forgot to set my pot up last night so I grabbed a mug full on the way out the door with Shade for her morning business tour of the back yard. Brrrrrrrrr I know I was awake and I know my eyeballs were open? But I thought something was wrong with my thermometer, it told me it was either 6 or 7 degrees on the porch this morning. WHAT!? :o  Was just out there again cause David let Honey out of the bedroom and the temp is now at 12. Holy smackeronies!!!! Where the heck did the TN winter go??? I would almost think I was back in Maine!! Suppose to go up to around 50 here today. If it is? It has it's work cut out. But I hope it does, I have a ton of recyclables out on the front porch that are begging to be gotten rid of. I have been putting it off cause I just did not want to sort them out in the cold. Boy Cedar I would be getting some money if TN had the deposit law here like NY and Maine do. But TN doesn't, I take the glass and plastic to the recycle dumpsters and the aluminum cans to the junk yard. They don't do tin cans at all here in Johnson City, if I want to recycle them I have to go about 40 miles up the road to another city to do them. Bummer it's a pain. They do recycle cardboard but not paper. Lot of people here will collect newspaper and use it in their gardens they ask for it on the freecycle site and they also ask for any and all grass clippings. :)

Have housework and laundry to do today. I also need to go grocery shopping and pick up the fixens for Thanksgiving. But that is pretty much it for my day. House isn't to bad at all really, need to sweep and tidy up. I do have a huge batch of dishes to do tho. Jenny cooked supper last night and she used quite a bit of pots and pans. There were dishes in the dishwasher that I thought had been run thru but nope. It wasn't full so it didn't get run, I can finish filling that and hand wash the rest. Easy day, I'm gonna love it.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe too.

Love to all

Good morning, it certainly was good to see Barb in her kitchen yesterday. I'm looking
forward to the day she starts her rundown of the events occurred with her art for the
day. No one does it better.
Its a tad chilly this morning, maybe 50 something when I let the dogs out and they
didn't linger, they did their business and came runnin back in. They will wait for their
snoopin around til the sun warms up the yard.
Staring at my yellow sticky reminding me to wash the car, so guess I'll try to get that
done today, then I can kick back and relax.
Ok, havin an apple turnover with my coffee and then get started on my sunday. :P

Coffee smells good this morning. I can sure use a cup with some International French Vanilla in it!!! Ii'm just having biscuits with some home-made blackberry jelly a friend made for me from some of my blackberries this summer. I'm taking it easy today. I do have to get out in the shed and find where we packed Bash's 2 satelite dishes. She doesn't like my tv programming here (LOL--local telephone co. cable) and is going to have Dish hooked up which she is already paying for since that is what she had in Detroit and uses in AZ. It is going to get up to 53 today----heat wave!!

[size=125Good morning, all!

I've been up since about 6:30, but busy working on my Multiply webpage....updating photos and music.

The sun has finally come out here, and we have at least 5-6 inches of beautiful new snow. Molly and I are getting ready to go cross-country skiing, and I'll bring my camera...hope to post some pics here later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!
