Can't believe I'm the first on today at nearly 9 am! Overcast this morning at Sunset Isle as I'm enjoying my morning coffee with milk, honey & cinnamon. I usually drink it black, but first cup is a splurge. Today I'm thinking it is a reminder to be grateful for the fulltimer life we share- full of milk, honey & the sweet spice of life! Off to explore Cedar Key a little later. Have a great day- :)

GOOD MORNING LORI AND ALL!

We have had one thunderstorm this morning with some much-needed rain. I just hope that isn't all we will get. Dinah totally freaks out during thunder----guess this must be the first one we have had since I "found" her. She out her tail between her legs, and dragged me into the house before I even heard the first hint of thunder this morning. As soon as she got back in here, she ran for her crate and nestled in until it was over!

I will pay some bills today (SS day for me) and then decide whether to stay here until tomorrow morning or head for the trailer this afternoon. The weather will determine my decision.

Hope you all have a wonderful Vernal Equinox----after today, the daylight hours will be more than the dark hours until June 21st. YIPPEE!

Good Morning to All - It is bright and shinny here in Huatabampito on the beach. We did 351 miles yesterday - here in MX thats a lot even though the road was great all the way - should be cost us US$91 in tolls.
We decided we'd rather drive the extra 30 miles and stay on the beach instead of a gas station parking lot. This is the beach of the beautiful sunsets and the seagulls who recognize Bill - he spends half the day feeding him. They are already out front screeching for him. They stand on the beach stairing at the Rv until he finally goes out there.
Will do an update to my blog in a little bit of yesterdays feed frenzy and the sunset. Think we'll stay here a couple of days - or not.

Good morning ladies
Its overcast today but feel good.
I haven't checked the weather report
To see if its going. It would be nice, as
things are starting to bloom and rain
would wash the evil allergy stuff out
of the air.
Time to get my little walk, ya'll have
a great day.

Colder and cloudy here at Fernandina Beach. Just had a brief rain, so I guess I will put off washing my windows on the outside. Got my little electric heater going to take the chill off, and will probably be spending most of the day inside doing some work. Almost end of the semester and beginning of a new one.

Rode my bike to Fort Clinch yesterday where a big hotel was setting u[ for a party for last night. Really enjoyed watching them try to get a pickup truck pulling a trailer into the fort's only long, narrow entrance. It was an extremely tight fit and things got worse when they had to back up to get more room on one side. Glad to see someone else in a tight place for a change!

Peaches for breakfast. I think since it is so chilly, I will make some pasties later today. I'll make four but freeze three. Yum. (For this who have never had them, they are a pie made with a crust folded around ground beef and cubed potatoes, rutabaga, and onions. Invented in Cornwall, UK, and very popular in upper Michigan.)

Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday... sure like your heading!! It is wonderful in more ways than one... Bright Hope is now mine free and clear... little story... when I got her I had to have some expensive dental work done... I used many $$ to pay for the work... thus not enough left to pay off Bright Hope... I finally took the money out of my midget IRA none left now but they were not giving any interest so figured by paying off Bright Hope I would save the 7 1/2% interest on the loan...
Oh Soos Shadow is not afraid of storms... he just lets them go by...
Irmi, Steve, Lori and Ernie are on their way to another adventure... enjoy!!!
Glad for a new be opening up the coffee room... I did a change up and had one of those cups of mixed fruit... have to fool my system so the pounds will continue to come off... my coffee is so good out of the mini Keurig... my brain does not understand why it is so much better than my drip pot...
Have a great day
Kathleen
