GOOD MORNING LORI AND ALL!

I see via Wunderground that it is 50 degrees in Pierrepont, NY today, where my daughter lives, and 57 degrees in St. Cloud, FL, where my son lives. It feels pretty perfect right here in Orlando this morning, with a gentle breeze and more sunshine. It sounds as if we might get some much-needed rain tonight and into tomorrow at last, however, and I hope that becomes a reality.

I am not liking the news reports of the sick and dying manatees down here this year. Many are getting sick due to red tide poisons in the coastal waters. Very sad to see the rescuers try to get the poor creatures to safety and help them recover.

Time to feed my 4-footers their breakfast and then take them for a walk before the heat of the afternoon is upon us. I hope you all will have a happy Monday wherever you may be.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good Morning,

Way too early for me to be up, but we are leaving at 8:45 to meet with others and drag the ATVs to Wickenburg to ride the Hassayampa River.

Finally got a little laundry done yesterday and the storage unit a bit straightened out. I have some last minute things to gather from there before I leave the 31st, but otherwise I think I am pretty well done.

It is always fun in the fall as people prepare to head south and now the spring northern migration starts!

Soos, you'll just have to find a place in Arizona that you can stand so you won't have to put up with daylight savings!! :)

Good morning all. A beautiful and sunny day. Highs in the low 70s. DH backed RED out of the driveway and we took turns driving her around the block a few times. Then he backed her in the driveway and parked her in her spot. She is ready to go!! Except this is spring break and all the cgs are full, so we'll wait till next week to take her for an overnighter. :P

Had a great time at the Willie Nelson concert last night. Of course I know who he is and some of his music, but did not realize he is such a talented musician playing classic guitar, writing songs for movies, scoring music for movies, the whole spectrum. And his voice is as beautiful as ever. He will be 80 this April. I am now a real fan. Willie lives half his time on a ranch up country Maui very close to my older son :P Son texted me last night when we were getting ready to go to the concert that we shouldn't hurry cuz Willie's jet was still on the Tarmac in Maui. All the locals know which jet belongs to which celeb. Oprah, Willie, Arnold.....

Gonna go make me some coffee and find some breakfast then off to run errands and finish getting RED packed. Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Good morning ladies
Its currently 44 degrees (brrr) but is supposed to get up in the 70's by 2. It will be a long sleeves day.
Plans for today....drive out to the rv and check for storm damage, stop and visit friends while I'm on
that side of town and will take my tile to the rv too and place it up to see how its gonna look. Also
have some samples of the floor tile and will place that next to the counter to see how its gonna look
as well. Last time I drove out there I found a puddle of water behind the kitchen sink in the corner.
Cleaned it up and will want to clean up again if the water leaked in from the rain. Will have to do
some repair I guess.
Son just came through here as he headed out the door...he said, "what, no
work today?" and my response...."Spring break" :D and his response. "Must be nice"
The girls are fed and back to bed, time to get my shower and get dressed. Ya'll have a
great day and be safe.

Welcome to Monday... yes it is the same ol same no sun damp and chilly will be in the low 30s today... my car did not start yesterday so my grandson came over and got it going after church... I asked him if he would discuss with Shaelyn about taking the large open home table w/4 side chairs and 2 captains chairs and the hutch for their home... no way can they afford all of the furniture they want right away... this will give them the opportunity to have many guests and a sit down dinner... it does my heart good to help a little...
Pete also got my fireplace going for me... I will sure miss that when I move...
Oh Ava enjoy the spring break... Soos when will you be headed north?
Having green tea instead of coffee this morning... oatmeal is in the microwave... life is good...
This was on the bottom of an e-mail I got this morning from a friend: FRIENDS ARE ANGELS WHO LIFT US TO OUR FEET WHEN OUR WINGS HAVE TROUBLE REMEMBERING HOW TO FLY

Good Morning everybody,

tt==Sounds like all is well in the forum for the most part. Everybody just doing their daily routines and Ava on spring break. How fun. How you have time to work on your projects in the rig.

Cloudy, damp and kind of foggy day here today. The warm air and rain going over the snowpack is making ground fog. Temps aer supposed to drop a little after today, but nothing major coming along. The snow from this storm went north into the U.P. But the back roads, drives and what not are a sheet of ice out there. typical spring weather.

Just got home from the chiropractor and store. She made a few adjustments, feels better. Can't do anything else much till we get results from the ultrasound to see what's up. She thinks it's all deep in the muscles and tissues in my back and both of us are kind of tossing out the gallbladder thing, cuase i just don't have the symptoms of it. The back issue can also send pains into that area. But one I get the test, then we should have some idea. I stopped by the office this morning and they told me it's usually two weeks once an order is in for one, before I will have it. So probably the first of next week. That's just about right probably, cause everybody I know who needs tests done these days, waits at least that long unless it's a critical emergency. The medical field is changing slow but sure. The family doctor is becoming a vanishing breed as more doctors are going into specialities and Nurse Practioners (NP's) and Physcian Assistants (PA's) are becoming more common. They are the first ones you see anymore and they can handle a wide range of stuff. Most of the time when you do see a family doc, they are going to do the same thing the NP or PA does, and then send you to somebody who specializes in whatever your problem. It can be a very efficient system, bui one must wait as it moves along. Just ran into somebody I know at the Chiropractor's office who told me her husband has to go in for hear surgery to get a valve replace. Won't be till June though. Chiropractor also agreed with me that it's time to start doing stuff and get the old back muscles working. So now i can go whatever I want unless I feel it starting to strain or whatever. Ah, let the fun begin.

Just finished cooking up about 7 pounds of ground beef/round steak for the dogs food. Will freeze it and use it as I need. Put some fresh in their food right now and they are happily munching it down. Not happy though cause all the ice out there means no walks again

So anyway, all that's going on around here right now. Think i might run up and get my hair cut after lunch. Also need to run vac. After that, we shall see. So am going to lunch and wishing you all a wonderful afternoon.

Afternoon - had meetings all morning so just getting on here.

The rains played havoc with the bike ride that I was in charge of communications for yesterday. Between the rain and the 12-15° drop and the 14-20 mph winds, there were a lot of not so happy campers. And of course, today is absolutely gorgeous now that I'm back at work.

I'm hating the time change because of it being dark when I go to work and not getting enough sleep because I'm now staying up an hour later.

Good afternoon, all. I'm scurrying around getting insurance quotes for our rig while Jenny is out doing truck things. Seems weird to say that. Last truck I owned was a 1962 Studebaker whose only claim to fame was tuck and roll upholstery in perfect condition. But the dang thing was built for a man...had to sit on the edge of the seat to put the clutch in. But, we've left Portlandia and our Prius far behind and now we have this behemoth of a truck.

For the first time in just about forever, our two oldest daughters are on the West Coast together. I'm so excited to see them when they get to PDX. Then off for a rainy four days at Cannon Beach, our favorite beach ever. Well, excluding the beaches in Kaua'i, but we can't drive there in under an hour.

Weather here is cold, not quite raining, but threatening. Still, I have fun chores to do so I'm happy. Have a great afternoon and evening.
