Thunderstorms are coming Thursday!

Our rain has finally moved on. It started about noon yesterday and rained most of the night. It wasn't raining hard but constant. It's still overcast and damp. I think there is more rain coming Sunday and Monday. The Mardi Grasers won't be too happy. I still haven't made it to Lafayette to get the King Cake I want. Most grocery stores sell them but they aren't all the same.

I finally gave up and called to see where they were with my motorhome. They just have to do the paperwork and I can pick it up this afternoon. Trying to decide whether to pick it up today and move it to the Ford place or take a chance in the morning that I can get it serviced.

Wish I was going to the Keys with everyone. One of these years. Tina, glad you got your TV up and running. My DH spends a lot of time in his recliner when he's not running the road. Walmart will probably file a missing person report if he doesn't show up for a couple of days. I think that's his town bathroom. What kills me is that he can go to town every day and the day I go to town he calls before I get home wanting me to go to Walmart.

A little chillier her at the Slabs than it has been. Can't complain, tho, the weather has been drop dead gorgeous. Of course now that Anita's arriving today, so is a cold front from Canada. Down to the mid 60's ..... There's another surprise visitor coming in today, Lyn (Coastal). Me and my bad memory forgot all about her and she called yesterday or the day before, can't remember when, and I'm going Lyn? Lyn who? Poor lady probably thinks I'm a total idjit!

Donna (ryegal) went to Brawley today to get her precious Chewy (as opposed to my Chewmonster) groomed and to dump and get water. She'll be back later today. She sure is a sweetheart, I'm gonna miss her when I leave. Robi's taken me around and introduced me to quite a few folks here. There sure are some characters! Interesting place, to say the least.

Sounds like the adventures are continuing in Florida....Lori, better keep that bail money handy and the truck gassed up! Spinner and the Sultan may be going on a trip!

Sure wish I could be at the Slabs with you - or even on my own. That's on my "go back to list" and hate being so close this year and not making it. Such a fun place. And you'll all have a great time even with the cooler air about to come in.

I've not been doing much of anything. But sometime before the 15th will head into Tucson for an exhibit Diana told me about. I know I'll love it. Was hoping I could go on a Sunday and hit the Farmer's Market at the same time but worked this past Sunday and this coming one. I'm off the next one, but the exhibit will end the Friday before that. Ah, can't kill two birds with one stone on this trip. Was going to go in today, but have an online seminar this afternoon, and don't want to have to rush back. Almost forgot I signed up for it ... good thing they email me to remind me

Like Sharon, am expecting the cooler temps to come back in tomorrow or Saturday. No complaints. 60's and sunny is still wonderful.

Me who hates the phone had a long, long conversation with Megan from the LuLu Belle yesterday. Sometimes even I can find the phone worthwhile. Was so good to talk to her. Starts me getting excited about the coming summer again.

Sharon, I read Robi's blog sometimes. She said her friend Sharon was visiting. It sounds like there are some real characters there. I'm sure you fit right in.
