Happy Christmas Eve to the fab WRV group! Whew! Been busy this morning getting the stuffing put together and in the crock pot, fruit salad made and kitchen cleaned up. Made the cornbread yesterday for the stuffing and a pumpkin pie, so I'm about ready to head out to my daughters house in an hour or so. She lives a whopping 10 miles or less away from me. LOL! But I'm spending the next couple of nights there to be with them and my grand. I'm so proud of myself! I haven't made a pie completely from scratch in years. I usually just get the ready made pie crust, but guess the old girl still has it 'cause this crust turned out great! How do I know? Had some dough left over and made an apple dumpling for dessert last nite....oh boy! Must be like riding a bike.
Mitch, is that the recipe I gave you? Or did I give you one...can't remember, gave someone my recipe for biscuits. Hmmm...
Havingfunnow, The William looks so regal, I sure would enjoy meeting him one of these days!
Hang tight Anita, this also will pass. Hugs, GF. ( I used to say MF, meaning My Friend, but someone once asked me if it stood for something else....
)
Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you in less than a month!
Hoping everyone has a joyful Christmas...and if not joyful, at least peaceful.
