I've had a lousy 3 days and almost ready to tear my hair out. Found out 2 days ago my checking acct has been compromised and I've been dealing with the bank on that. After 4 different agents they finally figured out that I'm "someone"
and I have my very own agent to handle this. She's doing a great job, has the new acct in place and is watching for my deposits and any bills that come in until everyone has been notified about the new acct number. Since I do about 99% of my banking and bill paying online there are a lot of companies that have to be notified. sigh. Then I found out while going thru my mail that my gd missed an insurance bill for the Harley. The original bill was for 358 bucks for the year. Now they want 614 bucks for the new policy. Needless to say, I'm shopping.
Still not completely moved out of the rv and into the house, but enough that I've been sleeping and cooking in here. Slow and sure and by the time the rv is emptied and cleaned it'll be time to start schlepping stuff back out there for the New Years Dune trip. It's a never ending cycle.
We have the bottom of a NW storm system here, chilly, cloudy and at times wet. The weather person said there are 3 more systems stacked up so looks like the end of our pretty weather for a while. Hope it clears up for New Years. Had such a great time over Thanksgiving, mid 80's every day with enough of a breeze to keep us cool in the shade or rv. Rode every day, probably a first for there. We usually have at least one day of cruddy weather, but not this time.
Since I really don't have any cheerful news today I'll sign off and hopefully haven't depressed anyone!
