Chris
Try hanging something from the kingpin so it is more noticeable and lots of people get those pool noodles, split down one side, and put them on the edge of the slideouts.

Sue, there were lots of comments about the sign you made for Judy. It is such a good idea especially for those that don't tow or have a toad. The bright yellow made it very noticeable. Even campers not in our GTG group noticed it.

Need to start spreadsheets to track expenses beginning in December. These last few months have had an awful lot of set up and start up expenses. Just like when buying a new S&B, there are always expensive items that you need to get everything set the way you want it. That should be winding down now.

I'm about to do exactly that. I don't have excel on this new laptop and waiting for my husband to give me the program again. I have a growing pile of receipts that pertain to the rig already, but starting on December 1st, aswell, I am going to keep track of everything. I'm excited. I love excel...and organizing.

I just slipped on a pair of warm socks, straight from the dryer because I'm "cold"... yea, I do not know what cold is. :)

Gena, you can upload Open Office for free - and it will let you do spreadsheets, well, basically everything that word and excel, etc do. And it will allow you to open anything sent you from word, excel, etc.

I got tired of fighting and repaying when I'd get a new computer, etc. So upped it last Jan and love it.

11 am here...and I am still going through emails and reading here. I did do some dishes and laundry, so not too lazy.

A trip to the dry cleaners is on the list today- in case my husband has to show his more presentable side during our travels. Luckily he/we get away with silly t-shirts and shorts/jeans for most occasions. I also found a fur hat/purse combo that was mine as a toddler- it has something on it and I want to see if it can be cleaned and then, if so, give it to my granddaughter to wear during the holiday season ...or at least for a photo op wearing her grandma's childhood things.

I am behind on my monthly photo shoot of my granddaughter and thought today would be the day but someone is ill in their household and I don't want to chance getting sick. I hope find the time to do it soon- to keep up with it. Sometimes I hate that I started it because there is so much pressure (I put on myself) to continue it--and then logistic issues or other issues arise and then I have to figure out how to do it before it's too late. (silly)

My granddaughter's mother went to the doctor yesterday because she found a grape sized lump in her breast. I think I'm the only one not panicking yet- but I'd rather wait to see the sonogram results before jumping to conclusions.

My son got the approval on his first apartment yesterday, and the okay to move in on the 15th instead of the 1st... so we'll begin that process in 2 days...and this weekend the apartment should look very bare, if not completely empty.

We are still dealing with trying to sell a few big items...but we're suddenly getting some interest on things that we hadn't before...so maybe they'll sell soon.

My husband is going to try to get off work early to drive back to the rig tonight- last night he got home late after a bad day and didn't want to drive all the way out there. I'm tired of being stuck between the two worlds.

Not much else to speak of here at the moment... I'll putter about probably... tidy up piles and reply to ad inquiries...

Have a great day everyone. I love this personable friendly forum.

PS- I haven't sent the email yet but getting an SQL error when trying to make a post about Bandera Volcano & Ice Caves in the Interesting Places sub-forum. (if anyone in charge reads this)

Thanks for the tip, I'll mention that option to my husband- he's a Network Engineer and may have a copy handy for me... but being married to a computer guy is like being married to a mechanic or plumber ---their work is amazing but everything at home gets done last or not at all until something hits the fan.

Finally! Beautiful day here today so far. I've been home since Friday and it's been cold and windy. Sheesh, I could have stayed in Tx for this! LOL! Haven't moved back into the house, not much sense in it since I would have had to schlepped everything into the house and then turned around 5 days later and schlepped it all back out again, so the Chewmonster, Samcat and I are just camping in the driveway. Thank goodness the wifi in the house reaches out to the coach.

Had dinner over at my daughters house last nite and took my new toy and some salmon to smoke. Her and her DH are both in love with it and are gonna order one. So far my count to Camerons is 7 that I've sold. I'm thinking I should buy a boatload of them and set up a table at Q and make some diesel bucks for my trip next year! I would but Mitch would probably want a percentage of my sales for turning me onto it in the first place. Whoops, make that 8, forgot my son ordered one under orders from his wife.

My fave today, dentist appt at 1230, then Walmart for last minute things for the desert, and hopefully get the RZR out and cleaned up. Tomorrow, hook the truck up to the trailer and put it in the driveway, un-hook the truck, hook Hope up to it and start loading the toy and gas for 10 days at the dunes. Woo Hoo! Can't wait to get out there and tear up that sand!!

Gotta run, time to leave for my date with my bestest friend, the dentist. NOT!! Hope everyone has a loverly day, Chris, let me know if you and Sasquatch make it to Az, I'll meet up with you somewhere. Prayers going out to Miss Carol and her family.
