Sue, You certainly do become a winter wonderland when winter arrives..I always get excited when our infrequent snowfalls occur but the inconvenience of even a few days makes me glad they are rare. Sorry the signs didn't work out...it's always fun to be creative and try new things but sometimes the tried and true prevails.
Red, so sorry about your uncle..you are fortunate in having such wonderful memories about him. He no doubt did help shape your life.
My prayers for the entire family.
Echo, you are sounding good...I hope this means you are gaining strength and feeling much better...you inspired me with the campfire. I am going to gather some rocks (no problem with finding rocks since they grow here) and build me a firepit today. I plan to sit out tonight, roast weiners and or marshmallows. My son will join me. He comes over to see me every day after work. I never dreamed this would work this well. The really big plus is how he is bonding with Rudy. Rudy runs over to see him as he drives up every evening and spends time with him in the garage if he's working.
We had stormy weather on Friday and part of Saturday, was very warm and had AC running through yesterday. Temps dropped last night so heater is going now.
Barb, your ducks are getting all lined up and tomorrow it will be 'southbound and down'...Soos will soon follow..2 very happy campers...safe travels!
