BJ, I do buy frozen veggies most of the time, but just plain ones. No added sauces etc. If I want cheese on my brocolli, I will put it on my self. As to fresh fruits. It's hard to get really good fresh fruits up here this time of year. Strawberries are starting to come in from other states, but they are mostly green and taseteless due to having to be picked early in order to ship them. I've been doing a lot of nibbling on celery and some carrots. As to lunchmeats, I do buy some. But only have one sandwich a day if even that. I find that if I stay away from the sweet stuff, that's when I can start losing weight. As to the processed stuff, I generally stay away from it anymore. Too much of who knows what in that stuff. Was going to make Tuna Helper for dinner tonight but decided to make my own Tuna Cassarole from scratch instead. Better ingredients and not all those preservatives. Was thinking the other day, it's about time for a stuffed pepper. Also getting hung up on salads with chicken, lettuce (Romaine), tomatos, cheese, green pepper, dried cherries, bacon bits etc. Yummmm.
I also am taking Zoloft due to my system not producting enough Serotonin and I read somewhere that Zoloft can cause weight gain too. Then some of the gals chip in with the other grand news about actually gaining weight before you start losing it. O joy!
