I HATE HATE HATE Vista. Hate. Hate.

Not to mince words.

I keep thinking, "An Apple today will keep the teeth-grinding away." But not sure I want to spend that much right now. Saving it for gas money in the RV.

It's like anything else in the cyber/techno world. They come out with something new and out goes the old whether you like it or not. To begin with I used Windows 95, then 98, then ME now the laptop I have came with XP. I was totally skipping on VISTA until Kelly came home and I ended up using her laptop. Now it's Windows 7. What's next and how soon???? Probably in the next 6 month. Or maybe even yesterday and I missed the announcement. No sooner buy something and it's outdated. Ya just can't keep up no matter how fast ya run. And I'm to old to be doing that kind of racing around.

I'll just keep plodding along!

Ok, Kelly has been doing the wrapping frenzy in the living room but she says the 3 bigger, more awkward boxes are mine to do. Got the house pretty well picked up. All the floors swept and mopped, dishes all done up and only one load left in the dryer to fold and take care of. It will be another mini vacation when we leave here next week. Ya'll would think I was back at the Lodge working. Except here I have the added chores of dishes and laundry that needs to be done.

Ya know what they say, "No rest for the wicked"!

Can you divide the cost of an apple by the additional years you should be able to use it? There is cost and then there is COST over time........
