To clarify—up until this morning the TransCanada Hwy has been trees, trees, and more trees. No farms and very very few homes tucked in among trees.

This morning, I left a provincial park about 20 miles northeast of Winnipeg, which is a big city with skyscrapers in its downtown. From the campground west, there has been mostly farms. Frankly, it looks a lot like lower Michigan or the other states like Ohio and Indiana. Some woodsy places but mostly plowed fields grown g wheat and corn, etc.

I already posted photos of the all trees areas and will post the farmland tomorrow night.
