"DR is drinking..."
Velda, maybe you should get a second opinion! Lol
I wish I had a drone so I could see what kind of setup she has. Maybe I could attach my cell to a pole and take a picture.
I laughed at that, picturing her sitting on her balcony and seeing a cell phone on a stick coming up along side her and snapping photos! Too funny!
I have lived in Phoenix (Chandler) and did not like it at all. Way too big and crowded for me. My brother lives in Tucson so I was thinking it would be convenient to be closer to him down there. I know the park models are close to each other but I am OK with that. Where I live now the park models are about 8 feet from each other. I like the idea of the addition so I can set up my gourd art in there and have heat or AC on to be comfortable (unlike my current porch). I actually talked to a lady there who is selling her park model and she is the one who told me the yearly rate was $4000. (Even at $6000, it would still come to only $500 per month which is still pretty cheap). I know there is an area there that is new, with manufactured homes that is probably higher. That is something I would have to check on tho for sure before buying anything. I will look into the Cove area.
The park isn't actually a Thousand Trails Park, but people who are members of TT can get a discount at this place. It is just affiliated with them but not run/owned by them. I will do my research and homework before buying anything. This place just seemed to be very affordable for me considering what they offer there. I have checked other parks online and some seem to be a little rundown and have much older homes in various condition for about the same price and much higher lot rents. Still have lots of time to keep looking tho.
Have a good night!
