I am pooped. Eddie, the guy that has cattle here, came this morning and put the tractor, bush hog, 4 wheeler, welding machine and mower up on the hill. My son came and we moved the motorhome and truck to Maurice. I have a few more things to put in the old house in the morning. Will watch the weather and see how soon I need to go to Lafayette. You should see all the traffic. All the campers, boats, tractors and expensive equipment are headed North. Only saw a few trailers with cattle. I bet in the morning there will be a lot on the road. You can't get into a gas station unless it's out of gas. All my vehicles are almost full and I have a loaf of bread. I don't know what people do with all the bread they buy. I hope there are some gas tankers coming in tonight.
Birdie, give us a call when you head to Texas. I might still be in Lafayette. Who is babysitting your cat?
Sue, it will be interesting to see how the divided classes work out. One of the parishes North of here only made a week of school and there were so many cases of Covid they had to go to virtual learning.
I'm not happy that my new phone is so big. The button that turns it off and on is in an area that I keep turning it off when I'm talking to someone. It doesn't show that there was a call or a message unless I turn it on but it will kind of vibrate when I pick it up. Peggy, I'll have to see if that's how I can block calls on mine. I guess technology will keep dragging us along kicking and screaming. lol
