Let's start our day with a good morning here.

I went to Lafayette and had lunch with Colleen, Carolyn and another friend. We went to a Chinese Restaurant with a big selection and I ate too much. I only had ice cream for supper. Went to Home Depot and bought a night light but it's not exactly what I wanted. I think I will have to look on Amazon.

Karen, glad you got to meet Claudia. I don't remember where I met her but have camped with her a few times. She really gets around.

Happy Birthday Shirl. I hope you get your wish. I hate to see so much trouble in the country.

Barbie, your gourd turned out really pretty.

BJ, glad Emma's test was good.

Beth, I wish Sugar would let me sleep. She is the one that usually wakes me up.

I was going to mow when I got home but I forgot I was out of gas for the mower. Good excuse to go to town tomorrow so might pick up a lunch somewhere. I still haven't activated my new phone yet. Carolyn told me how to move the pictures to a computer so was able to do that.

before I forget

Happy birthday Shirl!!!! I too hope you get your wish I am sure it is a wish we all wish for...
heard of a big fire outside of Salt Lake City evacuating 6000 to 8000 people near Park City Ut... my dd was camping this weekend so had to call as I didn't know where they were they saw the smoke and left the cabin and went home.... thought it was very prudent of them.... the canyon that has the fire is the one I-80 comes into the city through... I hope that they get it under control quickly....
Made soup today tonight for supper... why is it that soup tastes so much hotter than a hot meal??? I don't think mom really enjoyed it so called niece and had her stop by for it which she did... just didn't want to leave a lot of left over's in the fridge with being gone for a week
did get out pork chops for supper tomorrow night... easy to over cook them hope that I won't
was basically a redo yesterday day  except I didn't even do a word search... getting to the end of the book will need to look for another...
I wish some of you who crochet lived closer so I could get advice about this pattern... text the gal who had given me the pattern like a long time ago (1998) in the off chance she stilled had the same phone number... the answer came back was no so I text back asking if the person was my friend... the phone ran and found out that she had passed away... so her husband would answer the phone and let people know ... I didn't think it was appropriate to ask how and didn't even think to ask when... it really surprised me... but guess I won't get help from her.... :( even though we've not seen each other for many years I still feel bad to hear of her passing
the yarn I picked out isn't very babyish but it's growing on me... I actually like it... must have if I bought it
well you all have a great day
