Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Definitely some wild weather all over! Beth will be getting snow tomorrow! I remember living in Denver and a front whipped thru one day in May. It was 82* in the early afternoon when the front hit unexpectedly. Got super windy out and within an hour the temp was 34* and it was snowing! Got 6 inches of snow by 6pm that night! It was the opening day of the waterpark in Denver. I am sure they were all scrambling for their cars, wet and shivering! Crazy stuff!

Judy, I hope you stay warm tonight! And Beth too!

We "only" got to 109 today because of the smoke cover. According to the news, it was from the fires to the north of us blowing down here. The winds will pick up over night and change to the west and blow the smoke back towards the ocean. Our "cold front" will bring our temps down below 100 on Wednesday, with a high of 98! Woo hoo!!

I didn't get much done tonight around here but I did frost my hair and give myself a simple pedicure. Now off to bed. Back to work tomorrow morning.

I need to call the AC guy tomorrow. My AC units keep shutting off by themselves. Need to find out why. Can't have that happening while I am gone.

I got a photo sent to me of Maya, the kitten I rehomed. She is very happy and much loved by her new family. She has a male Siamese cat who is her best buddy...

Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

back in Ogden for a few days... left the truck at the shop so a couple things can be checked out that will be done tomorrow.... it's best to take it in night before for the most part... that way I didn't have to figure out how to get it up there and back to the house
guess I'm being sent to bed gd is sleeping on couch and either pandora or the light is keeping her awake... or perhaps Shadows walking about he is pacing ... so pandora is off and I will hurry
again was going to reply to something
oh yes the winds are suppose to be really high in Layton like gusts up to 70 mph tomorrow :o
the snow will be up in the mts and done to some of the benches but don't think that they will be to low...
not ready for this weather
you all take care

Mnday we only got to 107, probably because smoke blocked sun and the skies were overcast all day with smoke.
Beth, UPS did deliver here during the weekend. I got Amazon packagrs Friday, the 4th, Saturday and Sunday. Nothing Monday, because nothing was on order. Maybe it's different where you ate than here in the city, just 10-12 miles from the distribution center.
Judy, I'm glad you are ok, with that storm.
Read on news tonight that good old PG&E has begun shutdown tonight of power in Sierra Foothills, as well as fire prone areas of the Bay Area hills, in advance of the predicted winds. It will bring our temps down a bit, but just move more smoke in.
Everyone stay safe in this crazy weather, and I'm thinking about those recovering from the hurricane.
