I'll be headed north in about a month. My grown sons tend to take the attitude that I overblow everything medical, so I sent them some photos last night. Their response was "Oh," and I ought to get a beekeeper's suit! (My younger son passed a kidney stone a few years ago, which I have done many times. He told me that those things really hurt!!! Duh. Made my day.)
The funny thing is that twice in the last week I have watched a fly bite me on my arm, and the result was a very tiny dot--no reaction at all. It is just mosquitos and maybe noseeums.
I'll be in Michigan and Ohio in late April and early May, then heading west, where there are a LOT fewer mosquitos, as you know from living in Arizona.
