My awning made a strange clicking sound when I put it in last night. Please don't let anything be wrong with it. I love that electric awning. If manual it would not likely ever get used.

Sarah, my electric awning was doing that, and needed a little WD40 on the moving parts/arms. Did the trick.

Barbie, I'm sure the politicians and the citizens of California could never agree on where to divide the state. The parish North and the one we live in have been having a dispute about the boundry for as long as I can remember. It was all supposedly settled a couple of years ago and it's back in the news again.

Could be.....could be....Ernie wants to stay at "Betty's RV Park" or there about and explore Lafayette,LA. He's a "Foody" nut and so wants to get a taste of Louisiana .....and I would like to see the sights there, too...Of course, would love to visit Martha & Carolyn, too...

Lori, we love staying at Betty's. In fact, that is where we first learned of this forum many years ago.

Betty's is only about 10 miles from me. Last year she closed down for the summer but I think she opened back up Sept 1. Betty treats everyone like family and if there is anything going on she know about it. I go by for Happy Hour if there is someone I know staying and most of the campers have been there before. I met Carol at my first GTG in about 2006 and have seen her several times since then.

Betty's RV is certainly well known and the subject of many blogs. That says a lot for an RV park that is a little out of the way and not really large. The personal touch is famous.

People that like big wide open sites would just shake their heads. You wouldn't believe how many RV's she can pack in there for Mardi Gras. You can bet the campers are having a blast.

And don't think that happy hour is that short Betty has been known ,not only to tell u about places to visit, but be the tour guide too. Ps. Don't forget about her T-shirts. My sister and her friends visit whenever on that route. Even tGM loves it and that says a lot! Hmmm, I need to write Betty and get my commission
