Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Don't you dare feel ashamed about your grieving process.
That's just it - it's YOURS to handle the way you want/need/can.
No one can tell you what to feel. Or how long to feel it.

Sometimes thoughts of my recent losses take my breath away.
I just have to deal with it.
So, do what you need to do and take as much time as you need to do it.

We're here for you, if you need to talk...

{Hugs}

That's what is special here. Everyone is very supportive and shares their love, compassion and strength. Even though I don't always share my struggles online, just reading the messages gives me an uplifting feeling. Your healing process is for you and we are here to offer support as you go through it your own way ( like Mitch said :P )

I agree...there is no shame in grieving. It is very personal and there is no "wrong" way or time to grieve.

............

Cold, windy and flurries here today. Saturday's high is supposed to be only 17 with high winds and a -10 below windchill! :shock: NOT ready for that! Still not happy about not having a garage this winter :twisted: (Sharon, I will take that 61 degrees over this, any day!)

Yesterday, I had a customer who told me about a lady in town here who just sold her house a few months ago, bought an RV and took off for the open road. Then today, another customer told me about that same lady (a friend of hers). I told her to tell her about this forum. Then she told me about another friend of hers who did the same thing years ago, was a hair stylist, and did haircuts at campgrounds for "donations". She made way more money doing that than she did working in a salon, and because she only asked for donations, she didn't need a state license to do it legally. I told my customer that I would like to talk to that woman when she is in town for the holidays. (She also did a haircut on a guy at a campground who she ended up getting married to). She just put up a sign at her campsite saying "haircuts, donations accepted". I could do that (and maybe even find a nice guy! :D ) So that conversation got me all fired up!

I have tomorrow off, so will work on inside projects. Sounds like lots of little GTG's going on now with a couple bigger ones (FL and Baja) coming up later. I am still hoping to get to FL in late January to visit my friend in Crystal River and then spend a day or two at the GTG with some of you!

Have a great day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie...the haircut thing with donations was quite popular when we were in Germany....we lived in military housing....the ladies didn't like the "dos" that they got at the local shops....so some of the gals who were hair stylists in the states (they were not licensed to do hair in Germany) did haircuts, perms, coloring, and of course, if there was a special event with the hubbies that involved putting on a gown or party dress, did all the fancy "updos"....and only took donations....We were even known to make a party out of it....by having a night once a month for haircuts, perms, coloring, etc....

That said....I have been to CGs where someone would have a sign out for haircuts....so, it is something to think about.... ;)
