I had problem with reoccurring UTI'S and for me what finally helped was I took a supplement called D-Mannose. I found the brand Source Naturals worked best for me rather than the one from Mercola but I do think a probiotic is helpful. I also had acupuncture for the first few months fairly regularly and now not as often. I also bought a hand held $12.00 bidet which I think was another big help. I can't say for sure which one worked, maybe it was the combination.
D-Mannose is as I understand it, the part of the cranberry that keeps the infection from attaching to the urinary track. I've seen it as an ingredient in some of the dog foods specific for urinary track issues.

Unfortunately, I don't think this is a UTI. I never have the burning pain on urination, and in the past, test results have shown no infection. It is most likely small kidney stones, but could be a kidney issue. Kidney stones, even tiny ones, are very sharp and cause bleeding as they pass into the bladder. The pain they cause is more kidney and abdominal pain. I would be happy if it were a UTI because then antibiotics could help.

I did get results today that my pancreas enzymes are good, meaning no recurrence of my pancreatitis, which is a big relief. They needed more urine today, so hopefully I will get more results in a day or two. I may try to see a urologist when I get to my son's house. I think I need a cat scan and more tests on my kidneys. Just hope I have no more problems until then. I feel good today, so am hopeful.
