Tuesday and the heat goes on...

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

We are under a heat advisory here too until Thursday evening.

Lots of stuff going on with my dad this past week or so, nothing good. And now he has pneumonia as well. Been a very stressful week for all of us... :(

Have today off and have lots to do around here but I don't have much motivation, so am laying low. Probably a good thing anyways with all that's been going on. Need a little break now and then!

Hope you all can stay cool and dry today!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Found a patch kit for the inflatable kayak at Bass Pro Shop in Foxboro (about 7 miles from cg). Took it to my sister's cool basement to work on it. I took the canvas cover off and Inflated the kayak. Then soaped it all over to find the leak. Turned out to be one of the valves. Back to Bass Pro Shop for a new Boston valve. Back at my sister's I noticed the new valve has a gasket where the leaky valve is apparently missing one. So I put the gasket in the old valve and reinflated the kayak. Testing overnight to see if it holds. If so, I now have some spare parts if it ever leaks again.

Thanks Lori for passing on the Sultans recomendations! We'll be sure and hit them all! Anything with the word crab in it works for me!! LOL! It goes without saying that you are in my prayers and thoughts right now. Big hug GF!! And Miss Chewy sends errrrrr's.

The Crab Shack is great. Enjoy.
