Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday Morning....

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Sat Jan 26, 2013 7:31 am

And Top of the Morning to you all..... :) Coffee, juice, and pancakes ready for you'll.... ;)

Spinner isn't over his tummy issue yet....Too soon, yesterday, for his regular diet.....up early for 3 trips out side to poop, etc.....He doesn't act like he's sick...perky, and playful and keeps small amounts of dog food down and regular poop....it's when we increase it, he has issues.....So will start again today with just water and a little food later in the day....hope he's over this real soon.... Any other ideas??

Okay, nothing much planned for here today....It maybe warm enough to wash the 5er, but will have to see if Ernie's in the mood for that....

The gang is gathering in FL for the BIG GTG....just want you to know the bail fund is ready, if needed... ;) Can't wait for the stories & photos.... ;)

All righty, then....I'm out of here for now... Have a great day, all

Good Morning Lori and all who follow,

I see you are up at the wee hours again Lori. Sassy woke me up at 4:15 too  Way to early for her morning pill. Put her out sdie and she stood there surveying the yard, decided all was well and came back in  , so back to bed again. Woke me up again a bit after 5, same routine. The finally the lake wake up call a bit after 7, and this time I stayed up. Tessa came flying into the kitchen as well. Kind of like "outta my way, I gotta go, get the door open.." Now she's back in her bed sleeping, not interested in food. Till Sassy walked in anyway. I think she would like to eat, but somethings stopping her. Well, we see the vet on Monday anyway. Course it's part of the kidney disease, the loss of appetite.

Lori, perhaps there's something in the food that you are feeding Spinner that's not agreeing with his stomach. Are you giving both dry and wet or just wet? You might want to do just wet for awhile and see if it settles him down, or start a different food brand.

Well, the big weekend has arrived. Most of the folks for the GTG are arriving or have alread arrived. After tomorrow, it's going to be "let the fun" begin. Glad the bail money is ready and hope there's enough. Really looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing the pictures. Have a wonderful time all.

Wendy, sorry to hear you are having some issues with something breaking, but you are rolling along despite it. Once you get parked than you can start taking bets on what's been broken. Might get enough to pay for the time your are there

Well, guess it's time to get something done around this place. Thinking of going to vist a friend today, but gotta check and see if she's going to be home.

So everybody have a great day. If you are still on the road, be safe and happy travels.

Good morning Lori & everyone!

Lori, I sure hope Spinner's tummy straightens out. Thanks for the juice!

Today is travel day as we'll be heading south to the BIG GTG. We'll be pulling out around 10:00 after topping off the propane tank. Carolb will be here to see us off and then she'll be joining us tomorrow at the GTG.

We had a surprise visit from Liz & Tina yesterday. It was so nice meeting Tina and seeing Liz again.

Time to start securing the loose things so they won't fly around going down the road. Have a good day everyone!

I believe the shirt The Sultan gave him says "Assistant Sultan" and our understanding is that he's doing the Sultan proud at the GTGs... ;)

good morning ladies
ok, so I just went through a 4 day work week cause of the holiday but those are the ones that always seem so long but its done and its saturday again.
Laundry of course is in the works. Its raining out this morning so for sure I won't be doing anything outside. Dust a few things in my room and purge
a couple of boxes. Got the payoff on the rv for Thursday.......108.22 and the car is 145.00. So I'm doing a little happy dance, can't wait. Also talked to
daughter yesterday on the wedding plans. No specific date set yet but looking at October and San Diego. San Diego is very doable for friends and family
as its just about a 5 hour drive from Phoenix. Then the question is "where" in SD, so I sent her one link that had some ideas. If anyone else is familiar
enough with SD and has any ideas, please feel free to give me a shout. The other question on my mind is ...who usually pays for what? What is customary,
traditionally speaking.
I'm looking forward to news of the FL GTG :D
Little Spinner and Tessa not feeling well, hope that changes soon. Gracie has tummy issues from time to time and I have a prescription from the vet
when we need it. But her tummy issues stem from stress and sometimes from her bad teeth which are soon to be corrected.
Working on my list of things to accomplish before my move in, gonna ask for help from you girls but will put that in a seperate post.
Time for more coffee, ya'll have a great day, be warm and be safe.

Dont even get me started on that! Nothhing broken today, I dont find the next thing until I get to my next stop, sort of like a scavenger hunt! If bets are being placed will I turn back, I cant because I am carrying cargo, No, not drugs!Got sone stuff to carry down to DILs aunt in Marathon that theysaved from her house in the tornados in Ala Y'all have a great day SAFE and FUN Wendy

Good morning everyone.

Lori, I hope Spinner's tummy issues get better soon.

Sue, it has to be hard for you right now with Ms. Tessa. My heart goes out to you. I know you must be worried.

Irmi, cannot wait to see you when you get here. I got to meet Tina yesterday too. Had so much fun with her. She is a great lady. Now I get to meet you and Steve today too. Woohoo!

Carolb, tomorrow will be here before we know it. Cannot wait for you, Liz and everyone else due in tomorrow.

Wendy and Sarah, will see you again tomorrow. Woohoo! Wendy you are going to miss the Spaghetti Supper here tonight. Almost as good as food coming out a window to you.

I need to find out who gets the Women's RV banner to put up at their site. I still have it in my storage bay.

Boy howdy, I had a scare with Gloria's Paco last night. We had left him in my rig with my dogs while we went on the Tram Tour. I opened the door and was standing on the steps to get Belle. I had told Luke and Rascal to "stay". Did not even think about Paco. He went right beside me down the stairs before I could even react and down the road he went. I was going after him, calling his name, but he would just turn, look at me and keep on going. I called Gloria to let her know he was out and running. She was at her rig, saw him and called to him. Whew! He went running right to her. Taught me a huge lesson. I will never just open the door like that again not thinking about another dog might not "stay". I would not have forgiven myself if something had happened to him because I was not thinking.

I lost my fish, Blue, yesterday. I forgot to put the soap dispenser in the other sink when we were traveling on Thursday. It fell into the aquarium and soap went into the water. I did a partial water change as soon as we got set up, but it was too much for the fish. He was still swimming yesterday morning, so I was hopeful. I will have to empty out the aquarium today and then get another Betta as soon as I can get to a Petsmart or Walmart. Another lesson learned. I don't think I will ever forget to move the soap dispenser again.

I need to go check on JoanE today. I think she was due in yesterday too. She is down in the same loop as Irmi and Steve will be in. Time got away from me last night and I did not do the walk down there to check on her. I am thinking about going to rent a Surrey Bike today to make it easier to get around the loops.

Well, need to go fix banana bread for breakfast. Don't know when Gloria and Tina will be up, but would like to have coffee and banana bread ready for a small breakfast.

Hope everyone has a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Good morning all, it is raining here in Tucson. We were parked at a nice state camp ground that was part of the clay sporting center north of Phoenix. It was a great location...middle of the desert, but close enough drive to Phoenix. the sporting clay center was just across the road from a hot air ballon launching center. every morning and evening 6-9 balloons would take off. really beautiful and exciting against the painted desert back drop. and the airplanes practicing their ariel maneuvers: our own little air show each morning as well.

Did not want to be in the dirt for the rain storm so we headed back to Tucson to the RV resort. Loving their hot tub last night as the dark clouds slowly creeped toward us. The air temp was almost 80. The pool was heated to about 85 and the hot tub over 100. Felt so wonderful. Then a nice long hot shower. I think I left at least a pound of desert dirt behind.
Both DH and I are suffering a cold. Soaking in the hot water sure made me feel better.

Lori, I hope Spinner is doing better. Tyler had the same issue and the vet gave us bro biotics. Small packets made by Purina. Just sprinkle on and he really likes the flavor. Worked right away. Tyler is 12 and vet said their systems get messed up easily just like older people.

I'm so excited for everyone going to the FL gtg. You all will have so much fun. Wish I could be there too! Have fun and stay safe. Aloha y'all

My heart is singing the happy song for Ava! Congratulations for slugging it through to the top of the financial milestone. :D It is like completing a marathon, only there seldom are folks along the way waving flags and cheering. It is a solitary slog fest but with great results. :) I can hear the cheering from here.....

Good Morning to the busy forum ladies... most are on the move south... I know it will be a great GTG... where ever we are it is great... hope we don't need any bail money... behave yourselves (not)...
Doing laundry this morning and drinking my green tea... need to heat it up a bit later...
Well guess eating more and often does help am down 10 lbs... I do know that from now on it will be 0 or 1 or 2... The first week is always the most... I think I should make one of those counters... Today I may try some of the Greek yogurt that I got when we stopped after the doctor visit...
I am so very proud of you Ava you set a goal and have stuck to it... that is not an easy task..
Have a great day and walk slowly...

Carolb, I love all the "gloating" about the GTG. It lets me share the excitement!

Lori, had you just changed locations when Spinner started having stomach problems? Every now and then, local water will just upset the system, especially with older dogs. An experiment with sterilized/filtered water might help. I'll bet Red is right about the probiotics, too. (I eat yoghurt for the same reason.)

Good morning all!

Lori - Have you tried white rice and very lean ground beef for Spinner. Might be good for his tummy??
Have a great day all.
