Foggy Monday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Foggy Monday

It's foggy here this morning. It's so dense that it almost feels like it's misting. Came back from the Brenham GTG yesterday. My sister had to go to work today. I should have stayed at her house but decided to come on home. Didn't get in until about 8:30. Glad it wasn't foggy last night.

We had a great time. I was afraid that I gained 5 pounds after all the good eating we were doing but it was only 2. Some headed out yesterday and some stayed over until today. Bet I missed another good meal. :( We found a great Mexican Restaurant in Round Top. It's a good thing it's not in Abbeville.

My stove was OMG dirty. I decided to run the self cleaning oven cycle. I don't remember how long that takes. When it finishes need to go get my Thanksgiving shopping done. Looks like my older son and his family are coming. Guess I will get a larger turkey so I can send leftovers home with them.

Good afternoon Martha & everyone!

Martha, I'm glad you didn't have to come back in the fog last night. How can you help not gaining weight at the GTG's? It seems like all we do is eat! LOL!

It's very overcast in MD. The roads were wet on my way into work this morning but I don't think it's rained since I've been in my office. It's almost my quitting time, so I'm going to go home, change my clothes and get a workout in.

My parents caretaker called and said my father was unresponsive this morning and he is at the hospital getting an EKG and is short of breathe. I hope to hear soon what happened and if they're going to admit him.

Have a good day everyone!

Irmi, I hope the docs can find out what is wrong with your dad. How far does he live from you?

Rained here overnight, making the air sweet and fresh. Kiwi and I took a nice little walk ...

It's finally autumn in southwestern Utah. Some of the trees are a blazing yellow and red. The leaves are starting to come down. I like it when the trees are bare, because I get more light into my condo. In the summer they keep the desert sun from blazing in. Comfortable shirt-sleeve or sweater weather.

Have a good weather window to drive back to SLC tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving with my son & his wife's family. They are such nice people. Although I'm anxious to go home, I know a real mess is awaiting me in my yard ... lots of leaves to rake!

Luxury problems. Life is good.

Good afternoon!

Pouring rain here and suppose to keep it up most of the week. Predicting anywhere fro 3-5 inches :o

I had a welcomed surprise this AM as my neighbor/friend who moved with her family to the Seattle area a few months ago, called to say she was in town and could I meet her at Starbucks! It was great to see her again even if it was for only a short while. Her husband is getting some tests done in Portland at his oncologists. Still battling colon cancer.

Today Josh, my mobile RV repair guy, is finishing up the side seals on my Little Missy. Josh had asked that since I wasn't in a hurry if he could back burner me, and I agreed. He got super busy with all the snowbirds in the area wanting to leave at the same time and needing his service. Here is the text I just got from Josh:
"Good morning, Lenora. I wanted to write and thank you for being so easy going regarding my crazy schedule. I really do appreciate it more than you know. Many customers need it done yesterday and at times are not so patient or nice. You have been very understanding and I thank you. I will call later this afternoon when I am finished. "
I am so blessed to have found Josh.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day. Those needing extra prayers and hugs, you have not been forgotten.
